Taxes must rise as the City goes into business. How is it ethical for a city to run businesses such as Health Centers, Swimming Pools, Golf Courses, Ski Resorts...?

If the want to take over a tavern, a store, or whatever else all they need to do is raise taxes and fees on current business, squeeze them out (sounds like the mob) and then they can buy them.

This allows for the leaders that do not want to take personal risk in the business word to take the risk with other peoples money.

It is time that people make government govern, not enterprize with public funds. Less public funds to operate non-government business = more money in taxpayers pocket to invest in community.
