When a home in your neighborhood gets rented and the landlord lives out of town things can get really messy. The home next door has been rented and three family's moved in it is a three bedroom home 2 baths about 1000 sq ft home. this has been since Nov of 2012, since all the rain some have moved out. Now they are continuing to destroy them home. The fence is falling down from the 9 the 12 kids there, all the screens are torn and hanging from the windows the air conditioner no longer works because last night in the dark they installed window units in the bedrooms. My point is the City of Arnold can do nothing, what can we do???

Knock on the door. Offer to help them if you can in any way. Offer to care for their children if you can so they can get things accomplished. Provide a meal for them. If they have needs beyond your capabilities, ask friends and relatives to get involved. Maybe your church has a ministry that can get involved. That would be a good place to start and a neighborly thing to do.

9-12 kids in a 1000 sq ft home???? Check the state level. There is something that can be done.

I will check the State Level, the City of Arnold can not do anything as far as they keep telling all the neighbors impacted by this.

Concerned Citizen , great idea and yes all of us have offered to be neighborly with them and no way would I offer to help with the kids. They range from 14 to 3 years of age and some mornings you can see them crawling in the windows to get back in the house before they are discovered. The children are unsupervised you can not tell who belongs to who and the tenets keep changing they are related some way. They do not want anyone to know what is going on in that house. Some times you just say if you feel something is not right and so do all the neighbors around us it's not right.

I know exactly what you are talking about. They have ripped all the screens out of the home and they are up all hours of the night. I counted 18 in the back yard last week. I am fed up that city hall says there is nothing that can be done. They either all live there or it is an illegal daycare operation that runs 24 hours a day. In January all the windows and sliding door was open all day and night.

I said it once and I will say it again. Call the state.
