If they are hiring her family and they hold supervisory positions and are promoted ahead of more qualifies candidates it becomes our business.

Both.

Hiring should be the best qualified.

Promotions shouldn't bypass the normal promotional line when the senior person is the most qualified.

When hiring teachers, what constitutes the best qualified? Almost every student gets an A in student teaching. Do you want the highest GPA's? Does that matter when hiring a teacher? Lets hear your plan for this.

Good point. Most of the people on here do not have a clue but insist on their 2 cents worth. They make all of these accusations without any proof. God bless America.

Here's how to do it.

For new hires, look at their experience and their education. Look at what grade/subjects they have been teaching in the past. This includes student teaching. Do behavioral interviews. Call their references. Find the closest fit of all the candidates to the position they are looking for.

For promotion, follow the promotional line looking at past performance appraisals. Make them list peers as references and talk to them and document since the person might have gotten a good appraisal due to who they know, but really do a poor job. Look at the candidate and the job qualifications and make sure they are met.

For both, job qualifications should be listed to weed out candidates that don't even come close.

Is that better for you all? I can see why the district has a hard time with this. It seems like there is no common sense.

What positions does the super's relatives hold? I know of a couple, but I want to know them all.

I also think an annual report should be produced like corporations stock reports listing supervisors and above and who they are related to in administration or the board. Full disclosure so the public can keep an eye on the problem.

It's called taxes. We all pay her salary through out taxes. So yes, he does pay for her stupid selfishness as he put it.

I do not do or say anything seeking your approval. But I guess I am thankful for your blessing, don't really think about it. If she has done nothing that could be classified as "stupid" concerning her position and responsibility I will retract it. But I feel pretty safe in being able to back up that statement.

What the hell are you "tired of"? Because I am tired of the stupidity that governs the Fox school district! Dr. Critchlow is right at the top of that list! You don't like it ? Too bad! You want to defend that stupidity? That is your right, it is also mine to shout it from the mountaintops! She should be replaced, she is a disgrace to this school district. There is no love lost between me and this administration.......to personal for you? What she did with the cease and desist letter and the use of friends and family to beat people up on topix is unforgivable!

HAVE YOU EVER DONE ANYTHING THAT WAS STUPID? Or does it scare you to say that about yourself? I have done lots of stupid things, and said many more stupid things, and all of my friends and family point that out to me and I love them for it. Grow up! Stupid is as stupid does!
