Hope it goes. The Civil War was fought over states rights. Missouri is a great place to live.

Personal health care is an individual responsibility!
It's not the job of our government to regulate our
health. If this bill passes, say good bye to all
alternative health care, and yes your vitamins and
nutrients as well. Why should a health conscious
person, who eats right and exercises, and doesnt
smoke and drink, pay for someone who doesn't give
a shit about their own health? Just doesn't make
sense to me.

FREE HEALTH CARE IS NOT FREE!!! LETS KEEP THE GOVERNMENT
OUT OF OUR LIVES!

If any single one of you ever tried to buy your own private health insurance you would gladly be in favor of any health care reform. Anyone that is against health care reform is either getting Medicaid, Medicare, has insurance where you work, or is irresponsible and does not have any health insurance at all. The whole issue of Health Care Reform is not about government forcing anyone to buy health insurance. It is about changing a corrupt health care system.

Be sure you know WHY your voting YES on PROP C.......Today Missouri voters will go to the polls to vote on a measure called Proposition C. The measure is being sold as a "referendum on health care reform." However, in reality, the measure deals very little with the entire health care reform package, and is unlikely to have any real impact on the federal legislation.
What the measure actually does is ask voters whether to allow the state of Missouri to "Deny the government authority to penalize citizens for refusing to purchase private health insurance or infringe upon the right to offer or accept direct payment for lawful health care services." It also asks whether Missourians want to, "Modify laws regarding the liquidation of certain domestic insurance companies?" The fact that Proposition C contains two provisions makes it arguably unconstitutional under Missouri law. If a voter agreed with part one, but not part two they would have to vote yes or no for both. It is somewhat like asking a girl to marry you and live with your mother in one proposal.

In plain English language, what voters are asked is whether to allow the government to mandate people to buy health insurance (as the federal health care reform package does). It is doubtful that many voters will even know they are voting on the national mandate. Nowhere in the language do the words "national health care reform" appear. The provision really only asks about one part of the health care reform package. It does not ask about other popular provisions of health care reform such as:

- The provision prohibiting the exclusion of children based on pre-existing conditions.

- The provision eventually outlawing all exclusions based on pre-existing conditions.

- The provision giving tax credits to small businesses and individuals to help them purchase insurance.

- The provision outlawing the practice of rescission, in which private insurance companies can cancel a policy if a person gets sick....know and research the All before you vote But do get out and vote

You exteme left wingers can't get people to vote your way honestly, huh ?, so you have to try and BS us into voting your way, kind of like how you tricked us into voting for Obama.

I'm sorry "Vote No", but you must have misread or misunderstood the proposition. A "no" vote is saying you are in favor of government enforced healthcare insurance. A "yes" vote is saying you are in favor of fighting that government enforced healthcare insurance regulation.

I didn't even know it's time to vote...sometimes I think voting is a waste of time. They're gonna do what they want in the end. Plus the people that needs help have troubles getting it and the people that get help don't really need all the hours they get. Those people are usually related to someone that works for the state.

Do you honestly believe that giving more control of the health care system over to the Federal Government is going to help REDUCE the level of corruption?

That is the funniest thing I have read on here today!

I did read the entire proposition,(which is more than can be said for the idiots on Capitol Hill that voted to force this travesty on the rest of us in the first place), and that is precisely WHY I voted "yes".

Now that we have passed the bill so that Nancy Pelosi and friends could actually see what is in it, what they are finding is more and more nightmarish every day.

...that even the people are confused by the way it is written.
These snakes, both parties, can never be trusted. And a new
party doesn't have a chance because they are not corrupt enough.
