More IP Addresses Sought

I read in the news that the attorney for the three claiming libel has gone back to court seeking information for 8 more IP addresses. He claims there were libelous comments made against his clients from 8 more.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm wondering if enough damage wasn't done with what already happened? We got the super out and a couple others that were caught up, too. Why go after more? Wasn't the point made? And I'm curious what these other comments were. Was it simple name calling? If that's it, then I personally feel people are getting too sensitive. Whatever happened to freedom of speech in that case? If they were as bad as the first ones accusing them of actions that they didn't do (child molestation, beasteality, sexual orientation falsehoods), then okay. I understand that. But simple name calling possibly? Where is the line drawn?
Sam, could you please elaborate on the comments that the other 8 IP addresses made that were libelous? I think more light needs to be shed on this.

What if there were more administrators, family members, teachers or maybe even board members that participated in this on-line bullying? They need to be included.

And what if a private citizen got caught up in this mess?
I would like to know which comments are being obtained and what they said.

Well, you will be able to see them as soon as everyone else does as long as the judge agrees to it. What if private citizens are caught up in it? "
It will be because they participated.

I really wish Dr. Rizzi would go after the person that said he was a pedophile.

So your logic is that even if people committed a crime, since one or two have already been named, let's just let the rest go, because it's a "witch hunt"?
What kind of "damage" do you think has been done, that it's "enough"? To who? For what?
Using your logic, if ten people rob a bank, only one or two should be prosecuted because the point would be made, and no need to "damage" all the criminals.
Holding people accountable for their criminal activity is what society does to ensure our laws are upheld by our citizens. It is not set aside because the criminals have had enough "damage" and we don't want to be really mean to the bad guys.
