Yeah it was pretty bad. We really don't have a decent Mexican restaurant in Arnold at all. El Paisano is awful, Las Fuentes is ok but the only bright spot is LaPachanga off of Richardson Road. Wish we could get an actual authentic Mexican restaurant here

Authentic Mexican cuisine? There is no such thing. It's like saying authentic American cuisine, there are so many variations in both groups. It is impossible to pinpoint a cuisine authentically Mexican because you'd be excluding the thousands of cuisines Mexico offers. Do you want foods that are authentic to Oaxaca, Baja, Jalisco, Vera Cruz,or Puebla? I would suggest that you and your distinguished palate go to a little restaurant at 1932 Jeffco or 1275 Richardson, both serve the delightful authentic "mexicanesque" food you crave.

Wow they were just comments not worthy of the nastiness you just exhibited here.

Just as an FYI I'm originally from South Texas so I do know real Mexican food.

I sure don't need to be "schooled" by some by some Hoosier with a know it all complex

How about an auto parts store or a check cashing place! We need more of both!

How about another pawn sh...I mean gold buyer? Maybe a dentist for more revenue to pay off the TDD? Another nail shop, sure they sell lots of polish to generate those sales tax dollars. Surely someone has a business that can support a 5+ grand a month rent payment and will draw enough business to help pay off all of the millions paid in TIF funds to the developer. What a scam

Lets see...who destroyed this thread? Hmmmmmmmmm.........

Let's get it constructive again instead of using it to bash people who were elected.

I still vote for a yoga studio. We have enough restaurants and grocery/liquor stores. We need something different and upbeat.

Yoga studio, yeah, that's a big revenue producer! NOT Lot's of sales taxes collected too!NOT(It's a little hard to pay off that TDD without businesses that produce sales tax revenue) Don't they have yoga classes at the rec center?(Yes, yes they do)They might even have them at the other workout facilities located here in Arnold. What happened to Absolute Yoga?(Gone, but not forgotten) Doesn't Mother Earth have yoga classes?(They sure do) You can vote for whatever you want, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and open one yourself?

I am not a certifies yoga instructor. That's why I take classes and don't teach them. I do t patronize the rec center because I shouldn't have to pay for something that they say is a "service for residents".

Why don't you do as you say and get that other chat board going? You know, the one that has selective membership so you can blast your propaganda to your followers and not have anybody question for proof (that in my opinion you have never had since you have never posted it on here to my knowledge). If you have posted it on here, provide links to the posts to prove it.

I'm starting to think you attack me for asking for proof because you really don't have any.

You don't have to be a certified yoga instructor to open a studio, just as you don't have to be a licensed cosmotologist to open a beauty salon. You need to be a business person and know how to run a successful business. Understand the difference between profit and loss, know how to market your business to attract customers. With a lot of work you could use yourself for a before and then after example. Good luck.

Here's something fun:

Catch a live horsefly and shove it up your left nostril as far as you can. Take a cast iron miniature of The Empire State Building to get it in a little further. Then, take one of those little-class-domes-that-you-sh ake-and-it-snows-inside and give your nostril a WHACK!

You'll be sneezing antennaes and legs for days!

Good times, good times!

Actually, I'm probably in better shape than you. When was the last time you ran 5 miles? Please don't include the times you were being chases.
