Charles Arthur Heidelbach was married to my mother Eleanor Louise Bacon Heidelbach in 1949 and they were married for 21 years. They had 6 children: Pamela Sue Heidelbach Seaholm, jeffrey Arthur Heidelbach, Rick Martin Heidelbach, Don Reed heidelbach, Brenda Joan Heidelbach Stevens, and Karen Louise Heidelbach Elnikar. He had 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren he never met. He abandoned his family and disappeared. I guess now we all know where he went.

All of you were probably better raised without him. It's too bad you didn't get the chance to share your feelings prior to his death.
I'm sorry for your unresolved loss.

How can he have 6 wonderful children and grandchildren and not even list them in the obituary. How sad for his other kids.

Isn't he also predeceased by his wife Shirley Heidelbach that he left, also? Why no mention of her? She was a very nice woman who deserved better.
