Today is 3-18-11, just watched the show for the 1st time.... what are the police thinking? NOTHING!! Im not in LE, but lets reinterview the wife, her family, and friends... she didnt want to file a MP report to start with... why is that? She probably knew he wasnt missing, but dead. This broadcast absolutely gave my heart a real ache... my prayers and thoughts are with his lady love and his family.

Is it really that hard to figure out that the "estranged" wife was responsible? Most likely she & the BF killed the dude and then used some of his earth moving equipment to bury him at his last work site. The heavy snow that night would have been the perfect cover. I'd bet a psychic will tell the same story. Put the wife on the Steve Wilko's show, at least the polygraph will show that she did it,(whether she did or not)! This police department is just as bad as the bozos in Bolingbrook (which is really close to West Chicago & Wheaton, where this happened) who allowed Drew Peterson to stay on the police force while he was killing his wives and harassing women and threatening people. What's in the water over there in the burbs? There are so many unsolved crimes from that region. Half the damn cold cases I see on these TV shows are from the frickin burbs of Chicago. Fires all these jokers and start from scratch.

People don't give enough credit to private citizens...a lot of cases have been solved by private citizens and people taking actions and matters into their own hands. So everyone getting upset over peoples speculations should realize that the public has solved lots of crimes police could not. But there's an obvious connection, john and his business partner were having some financial trouble with the busines that they recently discussed, the co-owner of the building is the business partners wife who is friends with his estranged wife, all those parties refused to cooperate, and john went there to meet his biz partner that night which is verified by phone records and that was the last known contact. Also the estranged wife wouldn't file the missing person report then eagerly tries to collect on life insurance but he isn't declared legally dead yet...Sooooooo....that's not fishy ?? Err?????

After the second sign was ripped I would have posted a third one and have cops watching it overnight. It would have led to possibly some youngsters vandalizing or to someone involved in his dissapereance. I can't believe theh didn't do that. Its such an obvious thing to do.

The guy obviously took the money and ran. The wife with cancer wasn't dying fast enough, and the business partner was getting suspicious about the company's financial problems.

Of course it was the wife they hammered out the divorce that very day so before it is signed bang he is gone! Hmm who did that I wonder !
I saw he used too sit in the bar until the early hours before going back too his house where he still lived with his wife and yes her daughter killed her boyfriend she must have been her mothers daughter !
