Yeah well that's just too bad ain't it?
These dang taxes are too much for local folks to support. The only way to fix it is to stop borrowing and cut expenses.

If it worked for Herbert Hoover, it will work for us.

School Taxes are too much for the area! Worst when you have no kids and must pay for it. Cut the expenses and more money will be in the bank. RIDICULOUS!

This looks like the work of a fifth column of left wingers, the dead end sympathizers of the now defunct Soviet Union.

Their utopian dream didn't work out so now they want to bankrupt us with fancy schools and soft jobs with pension and health care benefits.

Let them suffer like the rest of us, uninsured and poverty stricken as they get too old to work.

Real intelligent statement, Jerky. Kudos to the people who took the initiative to make their voice(s) heard in an effort to fight for equitable school funding! I'm not sure who it is that you think should "suffer" in poverty... People who are advocating on the behalf of children and taxpayers? Hmmmmm...???

I love that once Jerky actually read the article & realized how dumb he sounded, he took the time to mark an intelligent post as clueless, nuts & disagree. Idiots on here - it's painful.

The days of wine and roses are over. We must get our budget balanced and working toward deficit reduction. We cannot increase taxes on the job creators to make up the difference. It has to come out of spending on luxuries like welfare, housing, health care, food stamps, Social Security and education. Defense spending must be increased to meet challenges from China and Arab Terrorists.

I'm sorry Olive, you'll just have to study harder on your own. And everyone else will just have to skip the lattes and work a little. You can still get rich in America if you are ruthless enough.

And you are a fine example of a cash-strapped education system.

You lost me. Who is Olive? And why do I have to skip my Lattes?
