8 county towns get state police bill

Bills have gone out to 89 towns that would begin paying for state police patrols for the first time in January if they decide to continue the service.

It is quite evident how Governor Corzine really feels about rural communities. Governor Corzine wanted to eliminate the Department of Agriculture. Most likely the department of agriculture was cut in the budget anyway. However, judges were given raises and food stamps was increased. There are many out th ere abusin gthe food stamp system as we speak.

It is not fair that rural communities do not receive as much funding compared to urban communities. There is a reason why salem county is next to the bottom of the quality of life list.

does the state of NJ still cover politicians medical insurance?

If they scrutinize everybody in the state like they do with farmers and agriculture, our state would be operating in the green. Also, farmers pay for their medical insurance out of their pockets.

You would not mind paying for nj state police to do their jobs, if they did them correctly? I remember 3 years ago or so when a young boy died while at a state troopers house...funny...No Investigation? Why??? "NO" call for an emergency airlift to save this boys life???? Sounds like a cover-up to me???

I was good friends with that boy..
and its a shame he died because of a state trooper who wanted to save his own ass and prevent from losing his job..the boys parents are the sweetes people i have ever met...HE was the sweetest boy ive ever met..
and i hope the trooper not only gets fired but GOES TO JAIL!

I just wanted everyone to know that I do not know anything about a incident about a boy at barracks or state trooper. I have no idea about this incident...therefore can't comment. wrong jersey girl.
