Report: Obamacare’s regulatory costs more than double benefits
03/24/2014
The annual costs of Obamacare regulations come in at $6.8 billion a year so far — around 2.5 times the total benefits of its heavy-handed regulations, according to study released Monday.
The federal government’s estimates of Obamacare’s regulatory “benefits”— what they project in increased efficiency or productivity due to streamlined processes and standards — clock in at just $2.6 billion annually, as opposed to the cost of complying with all those regulations, which is almost $7 billion.
By 2014, when all but those delayed parts of the Affordable Care Act have been implemented, regulations have imposed over $27.2 billion in costs upon the private sector and $8 billion in unfunded state burdens, the report by free-market think tank American Action Forum (AAF) found.
A large portion of the costs come from the paperwork burden that Obamacare places upon states and private companies. Implementing the law takes 159 million paperwork hours a year for state governments and the private sector — an amount that would take close to 80,000 employees, working 50 weeks per year full-time.(That’s 40 hours per week, not Obamacare’s 30-hour work week threshold for full-time.)

Daily Caller. Hilarious.

Didn't you dumbasses just waste $24 BILLION on a baby-fit government shutdown that failed to do anything? Looks like we have quite the tab. Also, over 50 failed votes at about $2 million each, none of which have a chance to do anything but waste money.

So much for "the party of fiscal responsibility."

And we're still waiting on the GOP plan to fix our failed healthcare system. We know you don't like this one and we know our old one was unsustainable. If your solution is to waste money and bitch, that won't work. That's all you've done for six years. But trust me, if you have an alternative, we're all ears.

But you got nothing.

Are you sure Obama's approval rating isn't already below Bush's? Do you want the combined/overall approval ratings or would you like me to break it down for you to see where Bush was in the 90's and Obama is in the teens as of this post? If I was to break it down for you then you could compare their trust, direction of our country, foreign relations, national debt etc.. Then you can see who is trusted and liked better where it's important.
NO I don't.........Bush was 25% for the whole last year of his term ..Obama will never reach 25%.........Yeah break it down for me....HAA!!

U.S. Seniors Have Realigned With the Republican Party

Seniors move from a reliably Democratic to a reliably Republican group
U.S seniors -- those aged 65 and older -- have moved from a reliably Democratic group to a reliably Republican one over the past two decades. From 1992 through 2006, seniors had been solidly Democratic and significantly more Democratic than younger Americans. Over the last seven years, seniors have become less Democratic, and have shown an outright preference for the Republican Party since 2010.

Your macabre cheer leading for the death of elder citizens is both heartless and futile. The over age 65 population and its growing GOP support is an INCREASING population, not one that is dying off.

Your ignorance and hateful prejudice blinds you to the reality. Here, do some reading on the trend before you embarrass yourselves further:

"hence, a pardon" LOL No, sweetheart, immunity from prosecution is NOT the same as a pardon. You are lying again.

You are so comfortable and accustomed to lying that you confuse your own lies for the truth. It seems you can't control it.

par·don
noun
1.
the action of forgiving or being forgiven for an error or offense.
"he obtained pardon for his sins"
synonyms: forgiveness, absolution, clemency, mercy, leniency, remission

By agreeing to make Bush immune, he offered clemency. Both are pardons, or forgiveness.

Bush violated US Code. I posted the code one page back. He could have been arrested and prosecuted here, or turned over to international authorities (the Hague).

But, I am glad you have finally given up the contention that Bush isn't an admitted international war criminal.

That's progress.

Arms-smuggling Democrat Leland Yee spoke at Obama campaign headquarters, said Obama gives hope to those ‘cynical about politics’
03/28/2014

The California lawmaker indicted for arms smuggling and corruption endorsed President Barack Obama with a speech at Obama’s presidential campaign headquarters in San Francisco, and said that Obama delivered a message of hope for those “cynical about politics.”

State Sen. Leland Yee was arrested Wednesday for corruption and for conspiring to funnel weapons, including shoulder-fired missiles, from a Muslim separatist group in the Philippines to undercover FBI agents in exchange for campaign donations.

The undercover agent who discussed the arms deal with Yee presented himself as a member of a fraternal organization headed by Chinatown gangster Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow, who was also indicted as part of the investigation that snared Yee.

Chow was recognized by Sen. Dianne Feinstein in a 2012 statement as a former offender who had become an asset to his community.

Report: Obamacare premiums could cost the young 14 percent of income
03/28/2014

The Affordable Care Act may not be so affordable for younger workers.

Premiums alone will claim 14 percent of the average 30-year-old’s income in Illinois, American Enterprise Institute analyst Scott Gottlieb writes at Forbes.

Actually using any health care services will eat up even more cash, including a deductible that’s $5,000 for most plans and a $6,350 out-of-pocket maximum.

Gottlieb looked at four states: California, Texas, Pennsylvania and Illinois. Pennsylvania had the lowest rates for Obamacare health coverage, with an average annual premium payment of $1,620 for someone who makes $20,000 per year, with a $600 deductible. But making just $5,000 more per year skyrockets the cost up to $2,328 in yearly premiums and a $4,000 deductible.

For people who are young, healthy and unlikely to use health care services regularly, the cost of Obamacare insurance is prohibitive.
