By far THIS IS the most unpopular, hated, and disgusting thing to happen to the families who have children in the district, property home owners, business owners, and seniors on fixed incomes.
Never in my 50 plus years of living in the borough has there been a political idea that is as abhorrently reviled by ALL...Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike.
Every street in Crafton and Carnegie has at least one if not dozens of yard signs protesting this ill informed and ill advised proposal.
Not only will this destroy the social fabric of both communities, the end result will be the killing of property values in both towns, therefore cutting into tax revenue and making it harder to afford owning property to the survivors who opt to remain living (some have no choice but to remain) in the district instead of fleeing Carlynton if or when this white elephant passes muster with Mr. Brown's lame duck school board.
THIS CITIZEN SAYS "NO!" AND MY OPINION IS NOT OF THE MINORITY ON THIS SUBJECT.

Thanks to the mouth of Dan Cindric, and the piss poor support of Viola, Phillips and Stewart my house will now go up for sale this summer. 23 years in the boro, and I have never seen such a screwed up council. What did you all get on this one? Screwd up your neightbors. Great job you four !! Phillips do you even own a house here? Did not think so. Congrads Carnegie council on getting the new school.

@ Buy my house CHEAP.
You're an idiot. Council resolutions are non-binding. Please move. You're too stupid to understand even the simplest of reasoning.
Council acted on the will of the people or haven't you noticed the hundreds of yard signs all over the THREE Boroughs? Even if it had voted against the resolution, COUNCIL has NO POWER over the friggin' SCHOOL BOARD'S decision. How come you didn't mention all the other members who voted for it? IT WAS UNANIMOUS. It's because YOU'RE a USELESS HACK.
You must like paying more taxes and don't say "It's for the children" because that's a load of crap.
