I can not believe anyone would publicly even claim to breath the same air as these criminals much less show up to the court room.

Tell me this is not Fuc*ed up

On October 30, 2007 I received the following (written) letter from Inmate XXXXXXXXX. XXXXXXXXX has served twenty years on a life sentence for homicide and he recently became a Christian. His words are a warning to all Law Enforcement!

“Dear Trooper Murphy”,

“Because of your involvement with the Mollett case, I feel compelled to relate to you how the sentence aspect set the criminal justice system back twenty years. In the institution here at (State Corrections) Greensburg and I’m sure at the other regional facilities, the case took on O.J. proportions. And when the 4 pm newscast on TV announced the deadlock jury and consequently life, the inmates erupted with glee similar to the OJ acquittal. In fact it was so bad that the guards had to lock the inmates in the cells.”

“The distressing part to me was observing the young, impressionable kids cheering for him like he was a hero. The message to them was that killing a cop isn’t what it what it use to be (automatic death penalty) and you obtain instant celebrity status. I even heard one punk say “ain’t no police gonna stop me out there now”.

“In addition I was sickened by seeing Mrs. Mollett with a huge smile on her face praising and evoking the name of our Lord!”

“Although I am incarcerated I’m one of the few who recognize the need for law and authority. This verdict established a dangerous precedent for society and sent these kids the wrong message. I can only imagine how you feel.”

“Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXXX”

This is the decline of the United States. Peoples attitudes to law enforcement even from non incarcerated people is getting worse. Why not just let the animals run wild.

I wander if changes have been made since Corporal Porkonys death? Specifically to the prison inmate release system.
