Please think about what you're doing

Go to the above link and understand what Erick is like trying to host the "Roger Miller" Museum. Ugh he's Internationally known and he's been dead thirty years, still sells records and no one will pull of I-40 to look at the stuff his family didn't sell at the estate sale. Try this test go somewhere big like OKC and walk up to ten different people in a shopping mall and ask them if they know who Johnny Bench is? Do you know the first baseman that played the 72 series with Bench? Without peeking what year was Bench MVP? How many out of ten know? How many from that headcount of ten would go to Binger? Fort Cobb Lake use to attract people through but with gas over $4.00 a gallon they can't put gas in the boat little lone their car. A website is closer than a drive to Binger even from Hinton off I-40. Hugh Haley deserves a statue in the middle of town square. Cookie Lopez deserves a park named after him. Buttin Williams deserves a Star in front of city hall. I hate to see the people of Binger put false hopes in to a million dollar attraction to no where. After the grand opening is over and the ribbons are cut everybody will go home and the band will have played it's last tune. Dignify your town with those who deserve it, to include Bench. But Bench can't sell records, or tickets to the ballpark any longer. If you want to save Binger, bring your business back home to main street. That is it's only hope.
