It wasn't really a choice, it was more like a lack of options. Devin is and still remains a very good friend of mine. This was an accident. ALSO. NOTE: The above article is FALSE. Devin did not say anything to the effect as to how far the gun was away from Jason's head. In fact, I understand, that it was quite a ways away, MUCH FARTHER THAT 1 FOOT. Seems to me that if Tulsa World News wants to report about something 190 miles away, they need to get their facts straight. Stop kissing BITCH BURNS ass and report the facts of the case. Bitch, I mean Brett Burns is a damn idiot. It saddens me to see this happen to such a good guy. Jason would not have wanted it this way. FREE DEVIN, IMPRISON BURNS!

I know this young man, this news about the accidental shooting bewilders me. I would think that he would know better than to point a gun at anybody, and never ever ever point a loaded gun even when playing around. Why, this is the result when you do. Not even a bee-bee gun, for his stupidity this is the reward I feel for him and know this mistake will haunt him for a long, long time. Everybody makes mistakes but this one was very costly and stupid.

True......However Tony Burns has nothing to do with Devin and his case. It's Tony's son, Brett who is the D.A., I totally agree with you, they are both pieces of shit. But on this case and point, the only part that Tony plays is the fact he raised an idiot for a son.

Ask me if I care how nice it is. Was it nice of him to put Devin though this? Did he take the family's advice and drop the charges on this case? Nope. So these are the facts, and they are undisputed.

Wow! Threats on a public forum. Really smart. Don't be a chicken shit, come on out to the house and see me if you have a problem with me. Obviously you know where I live, or can find out, since you seem to know me.

Anyway. We are getting off of topic here. Should know in a little while where Devin stands with his sentencing. It started at 1:00pm today, and as of right now, it is still going.

Maybe he should have pled not guilty to the charge of 1st degree manslaughter, looks to me like his lawyer should have fought harder for him. 1st degree manslaughter is where a person meant to cause harm but not death, but it ultimately resulted in his death? I don't see why he pled to that.

He needs to be held accountable for what happened, even though it's an accident, but not for it this way.

This one probably should have went to a jury trial.
