I used these movers twice and will not use them again!

The last time I used them, one of their movers dropped an oak 5-drawer dresser and broke it into several pieces. They told me to fill out a claim form and they would take care of it for me. Two months later, Mike the owner calls back and tells me that he won't give me the $100 that I was claiming, but would only give me $30 for the dresser. I was only claiming $100 for the dresser even though it cost much more, and it was still in great shape. It was about two years old, and I was willing to split the cost of a new one.

I told him that we had used his company before for a total of over $2,000 worth of moving services. I felt that asking for only $100 for the dresser was more than fair. Mike was very unreasonable and unsympathetic, telling me that I should feel lucky that I am even getting $30 back since some movers wouldn't even do that.

I will not do business with them again!

I don't like that moving company in Roseville, either! Roseville Van and Storage or whatever it's name is. Boy, is that a rotten company! I think they used to let that Dave Holt guy hang around, and he sure was bad for business. Everyone knows what he used to do.

Well, I don't like it, anyway.

Bad, bad company. They don't wrap things properly, and scratch and break them because of it. They don't know what they are doing. And if they do break something, and you purchased the insurance, your lucky if you get over 10% of replacement cost. Rip-off company out to make a buck at your expense.

I never like Carmichael Moving. That was a bad company. I never like the people that worked there.

My mom moved to Southern California, and the moving company stole some expensive china and an antique rifle. Probably stole some other things, too. That was real bad.
