About six years ago, he sold a house in PG and bought one in that big Seaside development on Fort Ord.

YOU must compare these salaries to the PRIVATE sector not other govt related positions..get the point and educate to the private sector....SO BE IT...a typical ignorant response from ignorant citizen
The private sector requires that you actually work and generate profits or they will outsource you for foreign worker for 39 k per year

This man did an incredible job! What is it about people, do they expect that retires will slink off to tim buck two and sleep under a tree when they retire?
You must work for the city or state too and hope to enjoy your nice pension when you retire or else you'd be equally as pissed off as the rest of us tax payers.

You think Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District pay and benefits is should see the Monterey County Parks Service is even WORSE! The people who run the MCPS are using and working the system to make themselves paid well without providing any work.

The board menbers and anyone that knew this kind of pay & retirement pay & benefits were being given to this person. Should be INDITED & ARRESTED. Just like the officials of the city of Bell, Calif.

This is an outrage. and slap in the face of Monterey Co. residents.

Where are the Tea Partyers? Where is the protest? I am an average tax payer. I want to do something about this kind of abuse, but talking to legislators doesn't seem to do it - and most are "too busy" to see you. Or if you're not a direct constitute, they won't see you at all. Qho oversees these salaries? Isn't there an authorization provess? I am a small business pwner/employer and we couln't survive if we spent this wildly!!
