"Mace and his wife own a vacation home in Klain's housing development." So, these people have a vacation home in Indiana. That should be an indication of a problem right there.
That is too funny.

This isnt the wild wild west where we allow people to take the law into their own hands like they do out west. If you ask me and I understand you didnt but Carmel Indiana is not without a crime rate of its own and getting higher as each day passes. I remember the Star story a month or so ago about the little 5 year old roaming the streets of Carmel while the parents sat at home smoking illegal drugs

This is news? Jim told the Star to keep Carmel in the headlines, must be a slow news day for him.....
People who say "This isn't news" are usually idiots.

First, a college president arrested after a fistfight (or bludgeoning of some poor schmuck) sure as hell IS news.

Second, if you don't want to read stuff like this, click on something else - or get back to your crayons.

Idiot.

As (loser) mayor of Carmel, don't you have something else to do ? Like swiping more land from folks that don't want to be part of Carmel ?

How do you "brake" the law?
Why do people comment on people's grammar so much especially when it is obviously a Freudian Slip? It's obvious someone doesn't have grammatical skills when they spell things like intelagent, speshal or newsance. It cracks me up when people want to retaliate to something someone said by harping on their grammar errors, as if they won the battle or something. Oh well, I just see this over and over and it's hilarious to me. I swear I proofread my posts to eliminate people giving me English lessons.

Want to know my biggest pet peeve? Probably not, but I'll tell you anyway. WHEN PEOPLE USE "YOUR" AS THE PLURAL FORM OF YOU ARE!!! Your is possesive and does not mean "you're" or you are. I actually feel better now that I got that off my chest! LOL

Well, so much for moving to Carmel to escape crime. At least here in Indy the perps tend to be local yokels. Carmel must be the new mob hideout. No wonder why it shows so much wealth. Here I thought it was local boys making good. I recommend that Mayor Bart put checkpoints on the county line to keep out known criminals trying to spread their Carmel crime to Marion county. I recommend we wall Carmel in like that Escape From New York movie. Tax dollars well spent will decrease crime in Indiana by 99% and give us a place to dump our human trash. Oh...what am I saying...it already is.

Idiot.
First off, it was a question not a statement.

Second off, where in the article did it say "bludgeoning"?

Lastly, people that call other people idiots usually are the idiots.

There has got to be more to this story than even David S. Klain is not telling!
There has to be a reason behind these actions!

YESSS!!! Carmel IS the place to go to beat someone. Go to "www.carmelbeatings.com " to get your appointment. Processing a request takes about 2 business days. They are also available for parties and weekends.

I have been on site and have seen this man loose his temper for no apparent reason. I have even seen him pick up half a brick and hurl it at someone to get thier attention. Seems as though he has an anger problem or a Napoleonic complex.

Thanks everyone. I have been trying to quit reading these posts because I get sick of reading all the self-righteous, overly judgemental, hypocritical comments stating that all parents are losers and all teenagers are wicked and we're all going rot in hell.

I love the humor in these postings! I have tears from laughing. Vacation home in Indiana???? Who does that? Also glad to know that Carmel is the hotbed of crime and law enforcement and Indy Star are right on top of it.

Saw in a previous post about an upcoming large soccer tournament. Poster suggested calling authorities and Star to arrive on scence together at the "bust" to ticket all the soccer moms parking illegally on the grass.

I'll be watching for that one.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Pisces

Someone is extremely headstrong and defiant today, and there's every chance that you're the one fitting this description. The more others are trying to make you behave yourself or do what they want, the more determined you'll be to do the exact opposite. Well, it is a Full Moon, and a lunar eclipse in emotional Cancer, so you're excused! Show them that you're an individual in your own right without going completely overboard about it, because that will cause trouble. Then once you've got all that off your chest you can relax and look forward to a really Happy New Year!
