Nice proofreading on the headline. Concseo?

let the posturing begin. It will be interesting to see how this gets handed to the CIB aka bob grand who of course has no conflict of interest. The pacers will soon follow with pleas for assistance from the city. the pacers for years have used conseco credit lines to forward their agendas.

How many suppossable smart college men made these errors. If you are not a medical doctor, you are nothing but a regulr peron. I want a law passed to return salary for these mistake. The money should go to a national health care not Hilbert and camel cubicle dummies!

Dear ConSucko,
When are you going to stop cooking your books? Crooked idiots. I guess old habits die hard, but I would have thought after you came out of bankruptcy that you would have done a better job keeping your figures accurate. Bet ConSucko goes bankrupt again. Dear stockholders, Thank you for your generous donations, your stock is now worth $0 dollars. Please buy more ConSucko stock after we reemerge from bankruptcy yet again. |

Wow, it's clear to see that you didn't get a good education. Go back to the dock and get your work done and quit playing on your supervisor's computer. He's probably off inspecting all the mistakes you've made while you were too busy thinking about what a shit job you have. Maybe once you get fired you should apply at Conseco. Maybe they'll make you the CFO or CEO.

I can do any job except being a Medical Doctor. That job require a genius and a lot of hard work on top of being smart. I will not degrad mysef and work in a cubicle fo hilbert. Even though he built the statium for the PACErs. He is not as goo as the NBA players be he wanted to be associated with they stature. I am not a hater. According to MSNBC a single mother adds $138,00 to the local AND US economy. Do people cheer hilber? Does he sell shoes everone has like Mr. LaBron James. Mr. Greg Oden has enjoried more success in Jr High school than you WILL if you live to 1000! And don't call be a faker I have access to an X5, verifiable. The car is work over 50k with options!
Whoa! I'm shocked that you could even drive an X5, let alone spell it. You must work for Consucko. Your grammar is atrocious, and it looks like you've 'cooked the books' on this response. Good day. |

Let me first say that Hilbert has nothing to do with us any more, with the exception of trying to sell his monstrosity of a home. He is a relic of a bygone era.
I am one of those people you would call a cubicle jockey. I've worked for the company for almost four years now. Definitely I am a new person but I have talked to people who have been at the company for 15 years or more and many of them feel the company is doing much better. This is the first I have heard of this (and I am home sick today) but I am glad we found the errors ourselves rather than being audited. People dislike our company automatically but wouldn't you be more upset if you read that we went through an audit and had to be told to make changes or were fined heavily for mistakes? We are doing better and I believe our current CEO has been instrumental in bringing in competent professionals who can continue to stabilize the company. I am not saying this because I am trying to keep my job or anything like that. I am saying it is my personal opinion and my view of the company from my current position and past experience. It would be stupid to say that the company has not had its share of problems, problem people and problem business practices. I can tell you that the company is actively and aggressively trying to correct the mistakes of old. I hate to use this term, but I personally have been involved in proactive measures to improve the company's compliance with government and industry regulations and implement "best practices" that insurance companies at the top of the heap employ. Please remember that many of the current employees were not in a position to make the changes or decisions which have plagued Conseco for the last five years or more. I am happy to work there because I see real change. It has improved since I first came to the company. It will improve in the coming years and after I am gone. I know my response will probably not matter to the people who will comment here, but I wanted to comment and give a little perspective from someone who actually works at 11825 N. Pennsylvania Avenue. |

Yikes and I work for Conseco
Last time I checked Hilbert was let go from Conseco, several years ago....sounds like someone needs to do a little research and less b******* about a business they know nothing about. |
Nice job, Mr Rosensteele. I hope the "These mistakes aren't that big a deal since we caught em ourselves. We are doing a lot better...really!" spiel goes well over at Investor Relations as you field calls from cranky stockholders wondering why their Conseco shares are going down the tubes AGAIN. |
I don't think you could be an English teacher either. Whatever point you are trying to make here has been undermined by your awful grammar and non sequiturs. Also, Hilbert has nothing to do with Conseco anymore. Do some research before you try to argue a point that you don't actually know anything about. |
Based on your grammar and spelling, my guess is that the only access you have to an X5 is as a parking garage attendant (Besides, someone who owns one would say that. Who says "I have access to an X5?"). |
Yo Mike, this is about Conseco the insurance company, not the Fieldhouse. D'oh?? |
Hilbert was gone. That means it must have been Gary Wendt and Bill Shea and their cronies who were "cooking the books" this time. These guys were supposed to bring Conseco out of bankruptcy and turn the company around, but all they did was get theirs and get out. I feel sorry for the rank and file who have stuck it out only to continue to see their company mismanaged. I sincerely hope things turn around for them.

The Kool-aid really tastes that good? |

I find it interesting that the so-called outside accounting firm did not find this issue.$15 million in one year is certainly "material." Who is the outside auditor? Why are they still the outside auditor?
