Rock the District hits Carmel Saturday

On July 19, a strip of historic downtown Carmel known for its haute couture and posh art scene will explode in sound as the summer's hottest free concert event, Rock the District, returns to central Indiana.

I suspect this will be packed like every other event in the A&D District so far.

Well said. Almost every weekend this summer there has been something going on in the Arts District. The final Act is at 7 PM center stage. Matt put on a great show last year with his donated performance.

I can't wait to see John McLaughlin again. He's fabulous. I've already seen him 3 times this summer at the Colts events, which we generally underattended due to poor publicity. The only reason I heard about this event was from McLaughlin's website.

Looking at my posts, I don't see where I gave any individuals credit for it, simply had congratulated Carmel. However, I have run many events, conventions, and athletic tournaments in my life, and they are highly dependent on a good volunteer base, but are ultimately a success or failure by who is the leader.
