I'm so glad that the new shelter is finally open, but if it's full now, then it's already too small. Isn't there any access to Federal funding to expand this place of refuge for our battered citizens?
maybe

I AM GLAD TOO, BUT YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER ANY SOURCE THAT IS BEBNEFICIAL TO THE PEOPLE IN THE CITY IS NOT IMPORTANT. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THAT THE OTHER SUCH AS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO PROMOTE RETIREES TO THIS TOWN.WILL BE FUNDED NO MATTER WHAT.THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT FAMLILIES.

Thanks to Carlsbad, for trying to offer a shelter for the battered families. Let's just hope we can run it without some abuse or something going on behing people's back. Honestly what is this world coming too!

The white trash and cops of Carlsbad,NM are the dumbest people on earth. Washington ranch abuses
our children from the schools and so do the teachers. Why would anyone make a child climb an
electricl pole? How stupid! Who has any brains,
their dogs? Bitches. I HATE YOU and so does GOD.
Where's hell.

it is a obstacle course to train your kid to trust thmselves not their friends that helped get them in trouble. Your kid will be fine. they wear the proper gear & the dont make you do anything that your kid dont want to. Maybe you should have been more concerned before your chld got n troubl.

Children don't get in trouble. They copy their elders. They are
little people who need respect. We send our children to school to
learn from books. What is with an obstacle course? You Nazi's
need to leave our children alone. They are not yours. Get a job.

children do get in trouble, sometimes through copying and sometimes through the endless imagination for getting into things we all know kids have. with propper guidance the kid has a chance. alot of the kids taken to these programs are not properly supervised, ect. they do need help to hopefully prosper in their adult life. perhaps you should have done soemthing with this youth you are so concerned with before it became a matter of the state handling discipline that obviously wasnt dealt with in schools. kids need to know, and have some sence of understanding about what life is like for an adult criminal. being taken away from your family and friends, being put to work...
at least they arent still on the streets. its not like they are taking kids there who have traffic tickets. they are making decisions that will affect the rest of their lives, through making habits that will stick with them. programs like this may be the last barrier before they enter the true adult justice system

School programs are for children to learn. No one should be discipling your child. It is child abuse. Children that misbehave
will usually tell you what is wrong if you ask them. Children become depressed from life just as adults do. We all need healing.

and we all need structure and discipline. if the child isnt being taught right from wrong in the home, they must be taught else where or they are assured a life in our prisons as an adult. and sure kids know what they do is wrong, thats why its acceptable to punish them. they do what they know to be wrong- there will be concequences. if your kid was put into state custody, you obviously werent doing your job at home.

that makes no sence. if you want to enlighten us, please do. being cryptic, though, when you are trying to get a point accross is a bad way to go about it.

All they need is love.

sure, and then they end up on drugs, robbing houses, killing people, ect ect, all because when they got in trouble you gave them love, not discipline.
ever heard spare not the rod? ok, i dont believe in beating kids, but if you take it figuratively instead of literally, discipline is what kids need.

well if your child had to do th obstacle coarse then apparently you are not a good influence on the kid. It is obvious your kid got in trouble since the law is involved. What is your deal lady???

No one does obstacle courses. This town is out of their mind.
Children do not do obstacle courses because the parents are
not a good influence on the child. These people hurt our children
without our knowledge and convince the child that it is their fault because they got in trouble? They lie. This is against the law and these people belong in prison. I love my children and if I had
known this had happened, I would have tried to help my children. Some people are just mean and stupid. God should burn them in hell with the trash.
