Junior, that just what you are. You must be someone that didnt get something your way. Remember a Union does things for the better of the Union as a WHOLE, not just for one person. You seem pretty pathetic yourself to talk shit about a Union who works as hard for its members as this one does.

Look back just a few years. The chronic liar Chapo served his apprenticeship as vice president of the USW, before URS recognized his unique "talent", then put him to work in their very own HR. dept.
Now, what does THAT tell you?
don't know. What?

If what you're saying really is true then you must be one of the racist people also because of the fact you noticed they supposedly only help mexicans. Meaning that you deserve the shit you are crying about because of how most, not all, of the b***h a$$ people in Carlsbad are racist towards mexicans so looks like karma hit you pretty good, buddy. Oh and you probably should be getting scared now that you're pretty much the minority....hahaha!

Oh, cry me a river, why don't you? Been waiting for some whineyass to start crying racism. That is the usual response when the fact's don't fall in some people's favor now, isn't it?
You can put any label on it you want, I could care less.
However, one label you can't put on it is " lie," now can you?
Unions are a mexicans best-friend,facts are facts.

You know, you better start citing your sources of these "facts". Until then, they'll be nothing more than mere opinions.

I don't know about all these allegations, but as a former worker at the GIPP site, I can surely vouch for some!
Examples:
Know of at least two instances where workers were off on long term illnesses. Upon their return, they were informed by the company they had no input on job or schedule changes since they were not present during these changes, despite their seniority. When USW was asked to intervene, their response was-
NOTHING!
Several workers had trouble passing their yearly physical when Schenck was the company doc. the company's response was to immediately cut these workers pay rates back to "trainee".
USW respo nse- NOTHING!
There is now a worker that was forced into a lesser position due to 2011 layoffs. His position has since reopened. Being senior most qualified, you would think it would be a no-brainer for him to step right back in. Heck, even the company agree's with that.
But hold on! USW insisted on going against all common sense and insisting job go up for bid, utterly leaving this worker holding the bag.
And guess what else? the job winds up going to a hispanic waste handler! Hmm.....
Now here's the real jaw-dropper:
During this last contract negotiation, USW now has the president, vice president, and financial secratary immune from any potential layoffs, despite where they fall in the seniority list with their fellow workers! Yep, real concerned a bout their brothers and sisters aren't they?
Chapo and lying go together just like flies and sh.. However, the union is unwilling or unable to stand between this turncoat and the workers.
This was the second time I had the displeasure of the USW "represent" me. It will be the last. Then, as now, they care about their own agenda, not the workers who finance their shenanigans.
What's funny is that a WHITE GUY turned it down first

The USW union at the WIPP site is inept, pathetic, and a huge joke. If you're not in waste handling or a mexcun, you will get no representation.
This not just an opinion, but rock solid FACT.
Here's hoping the membership wises up and sends this organization and their lying minions down the road, and soon.
It's hard to get representation where the Pres and V-pres are always GONE our our union's dues dime!
Just wondering

Obviously the majority of the Union is happy with the way things are because the SAME people that you all are complaining about are still on the executive board; it wasn't to long ago that elections were held. And Junior if it isn't racist on your part why even bring up anything that has to do with Mexicans?

one thing about the unions now....if you want to file against the company for discrimination under the human rights law.....forget it.....the union has to represent you and what the arbitrator rules is what sticks for your discriminination ....other words....you are screwed....why ...because the law requires the union to represent you and they are not lawyers and their lawyers don not do discriminantion.....

I bet your Pres and V-pres were always at work to fight for you. Our Pres is gone again, spending our money, next week our VP will probably be gone. Don't ever get anything resolved cause there never are here to fight for us. I don't even know why we have a union....we would be better off without one!!

Even if I try to leave the union I still have to pay my dues. That BS. It should be a open shop. It should be my choice.
Our union SUCKS let's vote it out. Maybe when the new company takes over they will get ride of it. It would be better for morale!
