What planet are you from?! Better businesses...here? Everyone knows that people here don't want to work, so where are they going to get the staff to run these new businesses? I'd rather get out of this boring town to shop and have a change of scenery. Face it, there's not much here and folks do need a change!
If you hate Carlsbad so much move. No one is stopping you. I have lived in Carlsbad my whole life and people like you make me sick. I hate how you complain about about new businesses coming to Carlsbad. You should be grateful but wait your not.

I'm glad that their are people who can afford to take risk and re-invest into the community. I try to support that the best I can.

My friends from out of town would laugh at our mall, unless they clean house with new companies and build it bigger that BES guy that bought his wife a mall is going to loose money. HA
Oh yow, I'm sure his renters are going to be paying higher rents once their contract has expired.

4sure..., you cant change ONE thing here. Lol, too many people are too lazy who are alcoholics, druggies, abusers, dont want to work. Rent is VERY expensive here. I just have to laugh when the words new is used with this place. Only thing new here are charges on someone or nothing new with charges being dropped. Obviously someone us very blind and ignorant. I would rather go out of town. Besides the medical here is not optional without having to go out of town for more serious matters and that is MANY serious matters. In fact, when the now retired doctors were here would do certain kind of surgeries and now the newer surgeons will send a patient out of town because the hospital is not equipped enough. And that is right, we are moving after my kids' school is out and give them better opportunity at a better life than getting on drugs. Yes, drugs is everywhere, but opportunity is very little here. The need to change the name here to Flush since too much crap and drug run this place.

yes, that is what is wrong with those who have lived here their whole lives. They have not experienced anything else and dont know any better. They sure are missing out on a lot of things. BUT at least the crime is down in the hell hole for now.

You probably only get a disability check and are too lazy to work! The local income is very low compared to other cities, and if you were a worker you would know that!
