Has anyone called the drive-in lately? They changed their prices!!!! It is now $15 a car and $7 when your by yourself!!! On Monday night, it's $3, which still isn't that bad but how many people go by themselves? The reason we enjoyed going to the drive in because it was afforable and convenient!!! It was cheaper than the walk-in and didn't mess up the movies nearly as often as the Mall Cinema. I was kinda ticked off when I heard this...what do all of you think?

Well I think that its also a little crazy to pay $7 to see a movie.. So take friends with you.. Have everyone pitch in... Minimum wage and tax went up recently which means that businesses need to raise their prices in order to be able to pay the new minimum wage to their employees. Just the cycle we are in now. Its called inflation.

Yea, I understand what inflation is. I was told that the owner has always stood by his low prices and because of it, and recieved good business from it. You can sustain a business and be able to pay your employees if you can mangage your money properly. We see that clearly here in the city of Carlsbad. Businesses are spending to much money in order to keep up with the demands of the public but it winds up failing because people get sick of the higher prices. But I will still probably go to the drive-in because I prefer it.

Still cheeper then the walk-inn.. Nothing's changed what's the issue? I take two of my children to the walk-inn and expect to spend 50 bucks. Drive inn I take food with me so I'm only spending 17 bucks.. I'm not sure I see an issue.

there is no issue. i just wanted to know what people thought. I know its still cheaper...but i still bring in my own food even when i go to the walk-in. People here don't seem to do that. I did it all the time when I lived in Philly and carried it to here...the snacks at the walk-in are ridiculous. I was suprised to here that he uped the prices....

I don't really 'like' the drive in, my car's not all that comfortable. But too expensive to go to the walk in.. So I wait for DVD's.
