The paper now says he was dismimbered and buried. The home has no backyard fence none of them do in that neighborhood. Youd think the neighbors would of had to of seen or heard something out of the ordinary! Maybe the grandson did it the person who usually reports them missing first and there really not missing just buried in the yard your standing on while talking to the police about your "MISSING" grandpa. Is most likely your prime suspect!!

Its carlsbad it doesnt matter who did it, or how horrible it was. our police cant solve crimes when evidence is handed to them. rather, they dont want to solve crime. we need a force of cops to come through completely from another area. well trained, not in anyones pocket, who actually knows the laws and isnt afraid to enforce them.
If things get taken care of around here, its taken care of and then added to the unsolved crimes file, to be forgotten.

and I'm not surprised that it hasn't been ruled a suicide. <sarcasm>
I'm seriously starting to wonder about our LE's capabilities.

Well a body has been found buried and dismembered!!! But this has not been ruled a homicide? So, what, does this mean he did it himself? I am in no way making this sound like a joke. But who remembers the man found in a freezer as family were cleaning the house out after his wife who had died, and it was said he may have died then his wife did this to continue collecting his monthly checks. I feel what she did is tampering with evidence and guilt of not reporting the death as well as fraud and so forth. Maybe even conspiracy. If this woman would have been alive when he was found, she would not have been charged with anything. Now let's say this eldery man found recently died of natural causes and someone dismembered him and buried him, then he/she is guilty of tampering, not reporting, and concealing evidence. Murderers get away with murder and this city of Carlsbad is a joke along with the law enforcement. I agree with "WOW", comment #13.

Who remembers a bakery on the corner of first and or second street, south side, the owner or baker was also dismembered, and as I was told he was thrown in the deep fryer. (HERE-SAY) No arrests to date, and this is a cold case I do not know all the details, but I am sure there is family who still wants answers.

. This place is now being rented as a home.. I just moved out this week and it was because we had paranormal things happen to us while we lived there. I moved in there in july 2013 and after a few months decided it was too opressing in that place. We have videos of a shadow man wearing a hat in there. Some of you are probably skeptical but i know what i seen heard and felt in there. Its a very depressing place to be.
