why can't the cat's meoaw and the village peddler offer free clothes to the homeless on lets trade even or something.we are human beings and we need clothes to wear just like everybody else but a lot of us can't afford to buy them.they could have sidewalk tables set up and have tables out where we could come by and pickout 2-3 suits of clothes or shoes or coats or whatever it is we need. Also we could use socks, underwear, tshirts etc

I have seen so many people here in this town that could really use some clothes, jeans, shirts, shoes etc why can't the thrift shops around town offer racks or something for like $1.00 each for a pair of pants,or a shirt.I'm sure they get so much donated to them that it wouldn't kill them to do this.people have yard sales, get evicted etc and i'm sure a lot of it goes to the shops.I have friends that have told me they find so much stuff around town in dumspters why can't threse people donate the stuff instead of throwing it away.

Just don't understand why a great guy like Mike Hammett would want to take his own life???????? Just don't seem like him, because he was a great father to his children. I know that he lived for his kids..WHY?

I can say this is that no matter how much a person loves their children, and they still take their life does not mean they didnt whatsoever. Many people say if this or that person loved their child, then he/she would have never killed their self. I use to believe that, but not no more. There are just some people who get so depressed for many reasons and feel that they would be better off dead no matter how much pleading, begging, helping, and using their last drop of blood, or shedding tears till their skin peels off, if a person is going to committ suicide, they are going to do it. It may sound selfish, but if a person is so mentally ill or physically declining and that illness is not better and causing hell among the families, even though the family refuses to admit it, the person who is suicidal, though ill thinking, does have a point as well as the family who don't want that person to die. It is a catch 22. It is quite sad and I feel for anyone who takes their life on the condition they were not someone who has broken a person's spirit forever or killed someone.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike's family and friends. I knew Mike from school, but hadn't seen him in years. He was a good-hearted person, and he loved his kids, as well as coaching other people's children in football. I can imagine he went through some rough times in the last years of his life, and I pray he is at peace now. R.I.P. Mike!
