Its about time she dropped it, if only the council would really go after issues that matter, like citing cops for talking on their cell phones while driving a police car which is owned by the city!! or help fund motorcycle awareness programs.
The opposition to such laws is beyond her control, I expect to see this issue raised once again but if we, the bikers in this town stand up for our rights, then none of this will take shape.
Mrs. Waters please focus on important issues, like unemployment, holiday cheer for the children of this community and feeding the hungry !! after all, we bikers do every year, our donations are incredible.
Here is a challenge to our council woman!! match us in every community event in which everyone contributes, you may see some support from that, go with the flow and never do it slow!! game on babe!!
True that

I agree with brother at arms, I almost got hit today on my bike because of a cell phone talking chick who was more interested in her conversation than paying attention to her driving.

Let 'em continue to ride and not wear helmets. We need to diminish the idiocy in the gene pool somehow.

Not allowed under state law. Sorry, tax dollars from local govt. cannot go to charity or to poor people. Frankly, lets leave it to Obama to redistribute our dollars. Lets not let our local government start participating in this too.

Not redistibute any funds, rather have fundraisers for the community, if 20 bikers can donate 2,000 lbs of food and cash to the local food bank or 300 bikers donate toys and cash to christmas anonymous, then why cant the local government step in and help? just say'n

Those are cool projects that bikers do every year. Local and state governments just aren't allowed to do something like that under state law (the state AG's office calls it the "anti-donation clause").

Oh, there will always be gays in the population. Your vitriole and vehement denial that YOU aren't gay more than likely means that you have considered the lifestyle. If you were a confident, self assured man you wouldn't try and prove how "distasteful" the gay lifestyle is to you. I think you are afraid if you were with another man you would not be sure if you wanted to go back.

Call me sometime, sweet thing, I'll rock your world.

Hugs and Kisses!
