I was up north at Bass Lake this last weekend. Out of nowhere, this chick yells out to me. I was suprised to see Angel, of The Mar-Dels.
There are (were?) two girls singing in the Mar-Dels, Angel is the blond.
We talked for a while. It was cool to run into her. I told her to say hi to Doug and the guys, and, she wanted me to say hi to all of Lil Elmo and the Cosmos for her.
Consider it done Angel.....

Wow, Rob Clotworthy. Now, there's a name I haven't heard in ages. Rob was a good friend of Randy's, if memory serves me.
Sorry to be the bearer of sad news but, Randy Gornel is homeless in Santa Monica, I think.
I had little to no contact with him over the last 25 years though we have a number of friends in common.
He has lived 2 blocks from me all this time. About 4 months back, he called me out of the blue to borrow money because, he was about to lose his apartment.
No clue as to what brought him to such dire circumstances. I can only hope that maybe there's someone out there who can help him. An old friend who has a little extra in their pockets? SAG?
Thought I saw him sitting on a bench near Whole Foods Market on Montana Ave in Santa Monica.
