Power Outage Hits Part of Carlsbad
#1 Mar 5, 2012
this wasnt an overhead issue??? a car going over 100mph smashed the main switching box at the corner of Melrose and Rancho Santa Fe Rd. pulling the conduit out of the ground and ripping the switching connections loose. This shut down power in parts of Carlsbad and San Marcos! I know, I spent half the day Sunday talking with SDGE personnel and waiting for power to be restored so my company didnt lose half a million in frozen product that wasnt being cooled because the freezers didnt have power!!
