Its time to save and restore Thornwald Mansion. Time is running out and now is time to act! Carlisle has already lost several historic mansions to progress lets not repeat history. Save this beautiful mansion so that the community can utilize it and save it for future generations. Don't allow an important piece of our local history to be lost forever.

It is time to save the mansion.
My sister and I have tried to find the owners
or someone since the fire who we can talk to and
possibly buy it and restore it. But we can't find
anyone or any solid information on the owner. If anyone
has that information; please contact us at
DLhealing@aol.com. This building should not be detroyed
and the previous owner has had it for 8 years and has done
nothing to restore it. Please let someone who cares
do it.

I may not be the owner, or someone that can donate a lot of money to help restore something such as the Sadler Mansion; but in this day and age, where people are concentrating on a persons
eating habits or personal life style, which in some ways is against the law, think about that, the above; the first 10 amendments, the constitution of the United States, which is taught
in every school district in the United States, which grants every human every legal right.
My question then, is this; why can't the Masonic
Lodge take more time and effort, and save something
so important as the Sadler Mansion with all of the
importence of background history that this very
important structure has to offer. As wealthy as
this Lodge is, and all of the important busines
conections, how this very important group of people, can stand back and do nothing, is a let down to any community. I am not trying to say that this is the responsibility of any Lodge, but
here is a clear example of abuse. Why can't the Lodge find a way to intervene, as with so many forms of abuse; this would fall into a form of abuse or type of abuse none the less. So, how in my mind can a group of people stand back, and not do anything about this type of abuse?
