I am so sorry that you were inconvenienced by the death of a 20 year old person who probably had a lot to live for, let alone people who loved him. Maybe you should call his mother to complain about your untimeliness of arriving home. Investigations need to be done before the scene is altered by moving traffic. You should be ashamed of yourself for even writing this, hopefully you will never have to feel the pain his family is feeling right now.

ok, like mbc7898, i know Tony personally & i know his family very well too. i know for a fact that he was not drunk or doing any drugs. his mother would kick his butt if he did stuff like that lol. like people said before, he was tired & fell asleep and his car swerved over to the other side of the highway & hit the car, he didnt mean to so I consider it an accident. i do feel extremely bad for the other people involved in the accident & their families and I hope that one day they can forgive Tony for what happened. like others have said, this accident will haunt him for the rest of his life & thats pure turtore right there. so please stop talking about him being under the influence & all that, b/c he wasnt. & for anyone that knows Logan or Ritchie, I'm am extremely sorry for what happened & i wish you the best in the future.

I don't understand such wretched comments one could make about this horrible situation. I was driving on 81 and wondered what the heck was the hold up and the minute I saw the coroner's vehicle I felt absolutely horrible for being irritated. These boys who survived will never forget this and the driver who ran of the road, God be with him, he won't ever be the same.

Someone should find out who "Just me" is and charge him/her with the HIPPA violation that he/she just committed.

Spoken as only an uninvolved person could speak. As someone who knew and greatly respected the person killed, I can tell you that I greatly appreciate an investigation...The death of a person is no light matter!(Especially one of such high caliber)....Sir, with all due respect, you should consider your words a bit more carefully. Sorry disgusted reader! I meant to agree with you, and actually admonish John Madrid! Unfortunately, the machine put forth a reply to your well-stated comment! Will the road carnage ever slow. 40,000+ fatalities every year. Every year! If 40,000+ air passengers crashed to their deaths every year would changes occur? We went to War because of 3000 deaths on 9-11-2001. A 9-11-2001 event happens every month. Every month!
This sounds like another negligent crash. Not an accident.
When will all operators have periodic refresher evaluations? Regardless of age All licensed operators should be required to be reevaluated periodically. Pilots are reevaluated and so should drivers.

John Madrid, is that your real name? If so then you are not too bright for making such cold, heartless comments. It gets me wondering what kind of a person you are. With your comments about a tragic accident like this, you seem like a mean, hateful person who may not have many true friends, if any. A young man lost his life and another seriously injured. This young man will never have the chance to experience years of living like you, but yet all you can think about is losing a little tiny piece of your time, waiting!! Shame on you!! If you are truly as heartless as you comments make you out to be, then you better take a long hard look at yourself. Someday you may be a lonely old man with no friends, or maybe that is the situation now. That would explain way you are so callous. Slow down and lighten up a little. You may be able to find peace and happiness.

Stop acting retarded. Accidents happen. Wrong doing or not, he doesn't deserve to be treated like a murderer. Nothing was done maliciously or done on purpose. I really hope that the next time you make a mistake, people throw it at you every day. This kid as to look at himself in the mirror every day with this on his conscience. Everyone in this case are victims and deserve compassion and respect.

This has nothing to do with 9-11. Not even close to a terrorist attack. Distractions happen on the road every day. Even people working 2 jobs and going to school can get tired after a long drive. Accidents happen. Chalk this post up with my previous one.

Madrid's insensitive, to be sure. A young man died tragically, and traffic was held up BRIEFLY! Get a grip. An extended family is in mourning, as are all who know of this tragedy.
