Hiring people through grants does not work. Once the grant expires then the Town or City is stuck picking up the tab. It is another way elected officials get around a hiring freeze only to strap voters with the bill later.
In this Town the Goldsmith project has gone over budget and time since its start. The Board f Selectmen said that their priority would be to have it done in one year. Obviously someone didn't know what they were saying because they are on their second year and quite a way from finishing.
Poorly run Town.

The Goldsmith project was scheduled by the state and was not expected to complete in one construction season.
