Well I must say I worked for the Carisle Police Dept. while under the command of Chief Sullivan. During my employment there, Chief Sullivan was an awesome guy to work for. He always treated everyone great. Yes, he may have made mistakes but his years of service and kindness will be missed by many. Hopefully, Lt. Crowe is given the opportunity to serve as Chief next. He too is a great person.

It is about time someone says something nice about the Chief. I think there are alot of people are afraid to speak up. You are right PDguy from Malden, he is a great guy. I remember way back when he saved a tiny baby that had a hard time breathing and was almost blue and the Chief gave CPR and saved the baby. He was a hero. It shows that he cares for everybody in Carlisle. So tell your friends to write and share their good thoughts about the Chief.

What else can you expect of sexually active public servants who drive marked cars in a little town for 40+ hours per week. There are only so many donuts you can eat before you need to titillate other more erogenous areas of the body.

Wow, it has finally gotten quiet no comments for 12 whole days. We now know the whole story and can move on. Thank God.

Oh, what the heck I'll break the silence. Kudos to Carlisle for hiring a private investigator. I would like to see similar actions in other neighboring towns where overweight, overpaid, abusive cops do whatever they want and get away with it.

I think that in the long run, people will forgive these men and move on and Carlisle will hire new people and history will look favorably on the professional solution that Carlisle found.

to the person whose friend got a ticket for driving too closely to a police car in the breakdown lane on the lowell connector, that is a clear cut violation of the law. Police officers pulled over in the breakdown lane are at real danger of being hit by oncoming traffic. Every year more officers are senselessly killed by motorists who are shitty drivers so this new law helps protect officers from reckless drivers. Furthermore stopping three feet after a stop line is actually a huge safety risk also, both of those instances seem like a ticket was completely justified. As a side note I am becoming more and more convinced that we need stricter driving laws in this country or requirements for getting and keeping a license, there are some really bad drivers out there and it makes me angry.
