Niki Tsongas is part of the problem in Washington, D.C. She is a FOOL to keep talking about this health care bill, as it does nothing but remind people of exactly why they should vote for Jon Golnik: the majority of voters in her district are opposed to Obamacare. Just ask Scott Brown, who won 20 of 29 towns in the 5th District for that very reason. Niki has gone against the working people on healthcare, stimulus, bailouts. She has voted repeatedly for more spending, higher taxes, raising the debt -- all the while in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi. It's time to retire Niki Tsongas, for the good of the people in the 5th District, all of Massachusetts and the entire country.

Niki Tsongas looked cool, calm, professional, reasonable and collected, displayed her grasp of legislation, funding with depth and knowledge.

Golnik came off as a loud hothead, spouting lines from the RNC playbook without any depth , interrupted her a lot and repeated himself several times for lack of adding anything else to the conversation, loud and obnoxious.
He repeated exactly what he was asked about himself as a debate question , in his closing remarks.
Has no experience, wholesales college trinkets for a living, lives high in Carilyle, out of touch with average Americans.Chastise her for not holding more healthcare meetings . He held none.

Claimed the health bill did not lower costs. hello Golnik, it's the hospitals and doctors, insurance co.s that need to "lower costs" , not the government.

Clear winner from every perspective, as the article points out - US Congresswomen Niki Tsongas.

It was nice of Niki to employ about 30 union workers who didn't have other work yesterday. I think Jon probably cares more about not putting on a facade; Niki has no problem with deception. Astroturfing or true grass roots;truth or lies, expensive healthcare reform, or reform that lowers costs, choice for part of social security, mandates with your money. The differences are clear.

I have a plan; since Ninny did not read the so called healthcare bill (for that matter no one did). I suggest we elect Ninny and she hires Golnik to read the bills to her. Then Ninny calls Nancy Pelosi and asks her how to vote. Done.

After hearing the 5th district debate, Mr Golnik has it all wrong and have made my choice. American not only deserve good medical health coverage but preventive access to it as well. Sincerely believe that all doctors can sponsor this and we need good preventive medical for a better life. Private insurance programs is by far more expensive and has made a mockery of selecting the life and death of too many good Americans.

It is sad when a newspaper reports half the story. Lyle, you should have written about the thirty union workers being paid $30.oo for an hour of stand-out duty to make Niki LOOK popular. They departed in unison at 6:30. Niki was too cheap to pay them to sit and listen. Or maybe she knows better?

You should have reported that she got booed three times, the loudest when she tried to blame the unemployment rate on G W Bush. You should have reported that even the Dem MoonBats were cheering Jon's admonishment to her that the voters of the 5th District are not her ATMs.

You should have reported that she looked and acted defensive with moments of real arrogance. It's that continual arrogance toward opposing viewpoints which have turned any sympathy for "the Widow Tsongas" into genuine disgust and even loathing for "Niki No-Show".

You should have reported that she always talks about her daddy in the Air Force and her 'respect' for veterans, but has been anti-war since the 60s and NEVER talks about winning our current war against Islamic fascism. Her pre-occupation with lightweight body armor will not WIN the war. And unless you want your grandkids still fighting this war, we must win it in our time.

And since it is the hot-button issue of this election year, you should have reported that once again Niki espoused a position of delaying any real enforcement against illegals here - and spoke about "a path to citizenship" - which is code for wanting another 13 Million guaranteed liberal voters added to the rolls.

You should have reported that last night she went on record as being willing to be Pelosi's brain-dead sock puppet.

Same person posting under 3 different names? I was at the debate, Niki lost hands down, she defies the will of the constituents and is in line with Nancy Pelosi's agenda, she is a follower, not a leader. Golnik showed her for what she really is, a party line voter who thinks she knows what is best for us, a true socialisimo we like to call them or Chavez wannabes. She is just a figurehead politician at best, not really qualified and never was in the first place, just riding her husbands coat-tails to power. She had some hacks in the back as usual, kind of like bringing black panthers to the voting polls like the democrat candidates do in Newark NJ, I also have seen that.. That is how Niki operates, same as Fargo, Frank, Coakley, etc.., it is the old Kennedy style politics at work through intimidation, these people are almost criminal and will do anything to hold onto power, that includes cheating by using illegals to vote , slandering the other candidates, and lying to the people.

Wow, you must have watched a different debate. Golnik won hands down and employer costs are sky rocketing due to Obamacare. There is no cost containment under this bill. Wake up !

Tsongas's argument that her constituents views on the health care bill were across the board with no majority against it was a transparent lie to the point of being laughable. This woman is ONLY in Congress because of her husband's good name. She is criminally unqualified for her job.

Guess you and Niki have never done billing for a doctors office. Doctors aren't getting rich. That's why were going to have a shortage, because less doctors want to pay the high insurance premiums, and work long hours, not to mention dealing with these insurance companies. And I will also say Medicare sucks when it comes to paying and the amounts given to doctors. Just another typical government run program, but Obma Care will change all that right? My own doctor admitted if he wished he never became a doctor. It's the Insurance and malpractice that needs to be rained in. Non of this will the Obama Care do. Just another government run program that will suck loads of money from the Middle class people and doctors to pay for all the give all to me individuals that don't want to be productive individuals in this society.
