wow imagine that ? debris leftover after a fireworks show , what strange devices ? we have become a nation of chicken littles! hmmmmm sure looks like leftover debris from a fireworks show! thanks for wasting tax dollars by calling out the fire dept and police! maybe they should require someone with a little intelligence on the coaching staff?

Some of the devices found on the field were unexploded fireworks, left over from the previous nights show. Fireworks of that grade (professional) could be fatal if they went off in the proximity of anyone near them. All in all, it is better to be safe. That is why the FD is there, after all.

did you actualy read te story? all the devices were harmless. this was a waste of the pd and fd time

Yes, I read the story. I also read the FD report. No one knew they were inert until they were checked. Better to be safe, and it does not cost anyone anymore in the process. Seems to me like another excuse for some townie dumbasses to bitch.
