Well at least we have some good news in the race for County Judge Executive. Former Cow Farmer Larry Tincher has been DEFEATED.. Lyons WINS! Now maybe Carlisle will get some new businesses, factories and the Blackberry festival will be put back up town where it belongs, and will not die. Enjoy milking those cows and working in your "baccer" Lawrence.. don't cut down any tree limbs now. Congrats to Kenny Lyons. At least we can be happy about this.

You bet! I guess he sees now that you can't crap on people and make them like it. I have high hopes now that Nicholas County can move forward. Congratulations KENNY. We are with you all the way.

Soon to be Ex-County Judge was crying like a baby tonight, blaming others for his loss by saying they had started rumors on him. Talk about a sore loser!! CONGRATULATIONS TO KENNY LYONS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!! Hope the first thing he does is get rid of that bleach-blonde B**** in that office!!

I believe that will happen. I have heard that he has a nice older gray haired lady in mind that he plans to replace her,(The BBB) with. I think the EX-Judge, hurt himself by writing that letter to the paper, denying that it was he and and 4 of the magistrates that killed the Blackberry Festival. Also, his sisters writing those letters of praise about him. I wonder just how much more will come out about him, before the new judge takes office.

He must be pretty damn smart, he owned his own construction business. He's done a lot of things, more than cow farmer Tincher has ever done. Tincher got lucky and get elected mainly by the farmers in the county. Those days are over and people want jobs and businesses and other opportunties in this town . All Tincher worried about were the farmers. There is more to Nicholas county than farming. Tincher did a fair job for a while, his bigest mistake was joining in with those idiots who wanted the Festival moved to west end.. that was his fatal mistake that put the nail in the coffin. So Larry needs to get over it, his fans also, and move on. A new era has begun and hopefully Carlisle will grow, in spite of the drug problem that will get worse because of the law we STILL have.

If it weren't for farmers this wouldn't have been a county, you dumba@@! Where do you get off running down the most respectable, honorable, hardworking, and honest class of people! Yes, Kenny was in construction and who do you think he did most of his work for? Yes, it was farmers! Farming is slowly dying and it's idiot attitudes like yours thats helped do away with it. Just wait until you try to digest your artificial bacon and eggs and your steak and potato comes in the form of a vitamin pill! Farmers helped put Kenny in office just as they did Larry, and he would be making a grave mistake if he doesn't support them just as Larry did.

All Lyons has to do is show up at his office every day and that will be more than Tincher ever did....

There's lots more to his job than just showing up at the office every day. Anyone can do that.

I am sure Mr.Tincher will help Mr. Lyons make to change to his new office easy.Mr.Tincher would not want anything to be said that he didnt help. Mr Tincher just dont seem to be that kind of man,and he may want to run for another office someday. And we all will have to wait and see what else may or may not come out. To many secrets going on,and the citizens are always the ones that get hurt.Good luck Mr.Tincher with what ever you do.God Bless

It will be a sad day when Mr. Tincher leaves office and Mr. Lyons comes in. I am sure Dana will get fired so he can bring his granddaughters in maybe even his ex-wife,which I don't understand at all. She was down at the court house taking pictures of Kenny Tuesday night. What is up with that. After what Kenny did to her why would she do anything for him??????????
yes very sad

Yes it will be a sad day when Larry leaves office and I wish him only the best of luck. I also wish Kenny good luck in his new venture and do not think he will fire anyone. He is smart enough to know that this will all be new to him and will need lots of help and experienced help is the best! He would do very good to keep Dana. She is very good at her job and has helped more than one new judge make the transition. I've heard some tried to get Judge Tincher to replace her when he came into office and I've heard him say more than once that would have been the worst thing he could have ever done. All the judges office staff is very capable and I believe Kenny will ask them to stay. It would not be good for him to hire his close relatives for that usually makes for trouble...but we'll see. We don't need to understand his and his ex-wife's relationship, for that is their own business. Nothing wrong with being friends with an ex, and even taking photos! Good luck to both Kenny and Larry!

I have great respect for Larry Tincher. I know that he has helped me out with some personnel situations (as well as the magistrates). I don't always agree with them, but they were elected into a tough job. I love tradition, and I hated to see the Blackberry Festival moved, but when I go to work in the mornings,(something that many don't do in Nicholas County)I don't miss the trash, the streets blocked off, and some of the people that still linger on the streets. I would like to see more things going on at the Blackberry Festival (truck pulls, horse shows, etc.) Something other that just walking in circles around the courthouse!!!

I would also like to say that I will support Kenny Lyons in his term. I hope that he will be able to live up to all of your expectations. Because if not, then he will be the one on here, getting bashed, in four years.

Don't worry about Mr. Tincher. He will be fine. He can get him a job at one of the businesses Mr. Lyons and his deputy judge executive Dorsey Watkins bring to Nicholas County.

I realize you are using little sarcasium but wouldn't it be wonderful if they actually did!! Stranger things have happened I guess. As far as Larry getting a job, I would hope he won't have too much trouble getting one. Best of luck Judge Tincher!
