Sorry, but unfortunately they can. I hope you can use your welding skills to land another job after you no longer have your current one. All those years experience should certainly make you qualified!

You are giving up too easy! Don't say no one is gonna hire you or they won't if anyone recognizes that attitude in an interview. Have more confidence in yourself! You must be one of their loyal employees to stay that long and believe me, I know the pain of losing a job after years of loyalty! I also know that feeling of betrayel that you're going through. Hang in there and pray that something will happen to turn the decision around and if it doesn't, don't give up on yourself! You know a trade, and have experience so if you don't have a certification or license, look into getting one if necessary. Best of luck to you and all the other men and women who were affected by Joy's announcement today.

There are job openings in mt.sterling welding jobs at hoff mans and summit is hiring.Nestle is always hiring up there and they do hire older people. If you wish to apply at hoffmans bring a resume and drop it off in the box as you walk in the front door.Summit will give u an application at the front desk and they do hire direct full time.To apply at nestle you have to go to the unemployment office in mt.sterling or addeco in mt.sterling to start as a temp.Hope this helps some of you.
