No More Taxes I fully undersatnd what you are saying and the Dispatch would not print my comments to you.
The Trooper was responding to an OFFICER IN TROUBLE call meaning there was a risk that the officer needing help could be seriously injured or killed or the person they were trying to aide could have been seriously injured or killed.
I hope you NEVER need an officer to rush to help you or a family member. You're like the wimps that oppose the death penalty .... Until they lose a family member or friend to a sadistic killer then they change their tune.
It has been said "You Can't Fix Stupid" and No More taxes is living proof.

Most of "no more taxes" comments arent even revelent to this thread. Noone exactly knows what happened except the family and those close to where the situation took place. Step down "taxes"! Let the family, friends, and co-workers of the trooper have their peace and try as best as they can to this behind them.

Ask any NASCAR driver -- you can't win if you don't finish.

again...in theory it sounds right...
....if you crash...YOU weren't being careful enough.......
But in life the theory doesn't work..

Firetrucks crash going to fires...
Medic Helicopters crash with patients on board..
Army trucks crash in Iraq...

It's easy to say....They should have been "more" careful...

If it's your house on fire, you certainly want the firetrucks to get there.....How careful should the be driving on the way......no faster than the posted speed limit???...[tried that...it didn't work].....
Let's take the redlights & sirens off the trucks....They'll get there when they get there....driving carefully of course.....Because they wouldn't "be doing there job" if they didn't get there.....

Why go into a building after a man who has a gun???...just wait till he comes out.....sounds good.......doesn't work.....

Why try to put a fire out ???..Protect everything around it, and let it burn itself out......

God Bless this young man and his family. I am glad the governer is attending the funeral, sounds like this guy was a great person and was trying to help a fellow officer.

It's so easy to criticize the police....

Why did they shoot him, He "only" had a knife...

Why didn't they just shoot him in the arm....

Why do the police chase people and "cause" an accident, if the guy "only" ran a red light....
.....Why don't they just radio ahead.....

Why did they tazar the "little old lady" who tried to drive away..

Why did they tazar an unruly student who was only "acting out"......

I wish you would find out the facts before you open your mouth. No one knows how fast they were going. And the car hit a void in the road causing the car to go off of the road. Get you facts right before you start criticizing a deceased person.

Straight out of the Patrol Academy the trooper is trained to be a servitude of this nation. It is sad to see someone risk his life to save another. The end result someone is still missed by family and friends. The troopers thoughts probally was he needed to get their to save another and not learning of the risk place on hisself. Its sad and he will be missed. The patrol lost several Troopers over the last several years.
