Does anyone have the big picture of what ODOT is doing to I-44? Seems like they are only giving small pieces of info at a time.

Could it be that they have a small plan and the rest is improvised? I think they don't have a clue or they wouldn't have destroyed enough property to widened the highway 10 lanes each way.

No one said or implied anything about conspiracies or paranoia. The plans that were posted here were not clear enough to read. DUH! Where does the plans state there would no longer be a west bound entrance ramp at Riverside? But you are right on one thing...they are too busy trying to change healthcare and other aspects they have no business in.

No westbound Onramp from Riverside. This blows, and the Riverside onramp was never a problem in the past. Sheesh.

Ignorant... Ignorant... Ignorant!!
I don't know what brainy civil engineers and bureaucrats came up with this "improvement", but it stinks. I work just on the west side of the river, and just bought a house on the north side of I-44 on Riverside. I feel robbed. My trip to work is now more than twice as long. I can almost see work from my front yard, but it now takes longer to get there than when I lived half way across town.

Thank you ODOT!!!
My city and state voting will reflect my anger.

Bodidly,
As long as the truck drivers are taken care of. Never mind the citizens who use these access points everyday.

What happened to the west bound entrance from Riveside DR. to I-44. There was plenty of right away for a safe and proper access.

Who knows what kind of idiots plan this stuff. I'm sure they think they know what is best for Tulsa, but it seems like they are just trying to see how badly they can hose up transit time and keep claiming to need federal funds to fix what is wrong - all the while knowing they were the ones that caused the wrong!
