Signing off as Chatrat's husband.
I lost my wife Sherry on April 2nd, 2001 to kidney failure and cancer (mutiple myeloma). I met Sherry in 1977 and she always took me to her hometown in Picher. I remember it well even though it was in the early days of becoming rundown. It was home to Sherry and so it became a second home to me when we visited her mother. Sherry cried when she would here about the city being demolished and torn down but she knew deep in her heart why it had to be. She prayed for all the people living there. She had lots and lots of memories about her childhold there. She will be missed. <quoted text>
