Chalice Stolen from Catholic Church

I hope it was stupid kids playing a prank who will return the chalice. It is sad to interfere with such a beautiful old church and sadder still to upset those who believe the contents of the chalice to be special.
My grandma went to that church daily when she was alive.
I remember St. Rose before they "modernized" it. It was far more ornate and fine than what one would've expected to find in little carbondale.Anyone remember the carved altar rail, the hat hooks on the back of the pews, the huge wooden doors in front?

I'm always amazed when ANYBODY steals a religious object, no matter what religion.
As for the original Holy Grail, I bet that was destroyed or left behind a long, long time ago.
