before you judge someone, you should know all the facts! maybe before you give an opinion you should first see if all the "evidence" they have against this woman will hold in a court of law. I believe she's innocent until proven guilty and from the looks of what i've read in the papers and seen on the news quilt is far from my mind.
let the woman state her story and then give a intelligent opinion

First off Judy... You can not believe everything you read in the paper and what you see on TV. The paper and TV let you know what they want. It's called Editing!!! So before you judge this woman find out the TRUTH! Not what the news wants you to know. It is rare that the media is right on anything.

The father, Chauncey Hood, is one of the best people I've ever met. I know him as well as I know my own brother. If he's standing behind his wife, then that speaks volumes as far as I'm concerned. I hope they find happiness.

you know i can't believe you think she is innocent. i really can't believe the things people talk about on the web. it amazes me because you never know if the person who is related is reading this. My name is richada hadley and the little boy she murdered isaiah hood is my little cousin. his father is my mother's nephew. so really nobody can talk about shit they dont know. Isaiah was 3 years old when he died. he didn't even get a chance to live. and all you people can do is discuss issues you shouldn't even talk about. i have a 3 year old son who looks just like him and it hurts me everyday to look at him and know if isaiah was here with us they would be the same age, playing together and just being little boys together. but at least isaiah's family knows that he is in a better place with his real mother who died september 11,2002. and we all can reflect on the joy he brought to all our hearts. so the next time anyone wants to comment on something they know nothing about, you should stop and think is the family of the victim reading this? and how are they feeling? not whether or not she should get off. she murdered my little cousin and i cant wait to she her burn for what she did to us.

I've held my tongue and emotions for so long, that now I'm ready to burst.
Isaiah was the first boy born to our family since 1958. He was the son of my very first niece, Karen.
You see, boys skipped a generation in our family.
Karen literally sacrificed her life to bring him into this world. Even though there was 7 or more years in age difference between Karen was more of a little sister to me than a niece.
She looked like me and I looked like her. Beauty comes from within and she showed it. She herself was indeed a miracle and a medical marvel.

Isaiah was a mystery to me, because after a dozen or more nieces, then a boy !!!!! a grand-nephew.

Our family knew that change was coming.
His eyes had the same vivid sparkle and lighting strikes that his mom had. Missing them is rough, but neither of them deserved the way they went out.

The CREATOR is the only one that can answer as to why their work here on earth was finished so early.
Justice will prevail, it must. Its hard to see my siblings suffer and their pain is so real,

I haven't even seen them in the past year. Its not my tears that I fear, its my anger. I just have to continue to have FAITH that the MOST HIGH will be the only JUDGE and he won't pull any punches.

My name is Justine and I am Karen's youngest sister. Isaiah was my only nephew. I didn't know about my sister until I was about 13. I knew her less than 5 yrs before God took her away. She left us her greatest joy: Isaiah. My nephew was the brightest star in our family. He was all we had left of Karen. Then his life was cut short also.I'll never forget the day. June 8th was the worst day of my life. My sister woke me up telling me that my 3 year old nephew was dead. I flipped out. I couldn't understand or grasp what happened. He was just a little boy. I still dont understand why he had to go but its not my job to understand. It tore my family apart when Isaiah passed. No one will ever be the same. I dont want to have a debate on innocence and guilt. In my opinion Chauncey and Wandalay are both guilty as hell. No matter how Isaiah died he was in their care and for that I will hope that they both suffer. I think that my heart will always ache for the boy who looked just like his mother and for the sister I never got to know. My sister sacrificed her life for her husband and he dishonored her memory and now nothing can change whats gonna happen. Isaiah would be 7 this year. I have 2 children Anthony Isaiah and Sophia-Loren Karen who will never know their only cousin. I will go to my grave grieving the loss of my only nephew. So while you people sit at your computers writing that she's innocent think about this. What if it was your child or nephew or cousin she killed? I bet you wouldn't be so quick to assume innocence then. Chauncey is a scumbag that killed my sister and my nephew and he and his 3rd wife are going to rot in hell.

To the Pearts, I understand your pain. However, having gone to college with Chauncey, having had he and Karen stay at my home, having held Isaiah at Karen's funeral, I will tell you that Chauncey Hood is no "scumbag". I've known him for 23 years and have called him my best friend. He's a docile, funny guy that would never hurt anyone. Exactly what happened to Isaiah is unknown, but I can tell you one thing, Chauncey is niether an abuser or a scumbag. This is a tragedy ... the loss of Karen and Isaiah ... and ultimately the quality of Chauncey's life. He's a victim too. I cannot account for the "accused" because I never met her. But, if she was responsible, it was entirely on her own ... Chauncey would not have condoned or covered up any abuse. So leave him alone ... let him grieve just like you grieve. Isaiah, was, after all, his only son.

I understand that Chauncey is greiving the loss of Isaiah I dont hate him nor do I fully blame him for the death of Isaiah but understand this and know one thing.....this was not an isolated incident. Tha woman abused my nephew numerous times and i dont know if Chauncey knew about it or not but why should he not be held accountable for who he has around his kids. In my heart I forgive him for what was done because hate only breeds hate. If I never see him again it would be too soon. I hope that one day Chauncey fully understands the ramifications of the actions that took place 3 yrs ago. I pray that he understands how I feel and how the rest of my family feels.

to the Pearts, i understand how you are feeling and am sorry, i dont understand why some of yah are accusing this women and theres no facts...if she was guilty with plenty of facts she would of been sentence already. my career is working with the law and from my understanding this women is innocent theres no evidence that she did it. the newspaper and reports have so many diffrent stores. how can you accuse with no facts.....this women is innocent theres no evidence that she did it. once again my respects to the pearts... isaiah may you rest in peace along with your mother. everyone else needs to let this issue go and move on....

The accused is as guilty as sin. Just because you bleeding heart liberals haven't seen the evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The poor kid was murdered by an evil person and all you people seem to be concerned with is how perez-hood is being "falsely" accused.
