BEWARE Minors having sex ....Doing prison time for having sex

There is a young man who was sentenced for having
consentual sex...he ws 17 and she ws 14. He was seeing this girl for almost a year and when it ended he bragged to a friend about the sex with this girl...this so called friend told someone and charges were filed. He was sentenced to 8 1/2 - 18 years for having consentual sex. When he is released he must register as a predator...for having consentual sex. What kind of punishment did this wrong lady get....both of them were minors....she got NOTHING and his life is ruined. Someone please HELP....GUYS BEWARE.

No sorry.....this happened in Olyphant.He got married and moved to Carolina and was arrested the day after his wedding. He has a little girl and wife....what a shame, a terrible way to waste your life. What I do NOT understand is how you can send someone to prison....for having sex when a minor with a minor....AND ONLY punish the guy. A priest who molested a young boy got probation....this young man got prison time for having consentual sex. WHY??????????

you know what is bullshit. My son just went to juvenile jail for having sex with a 13&1/2 year old girl. My son is 14 years old, only 8 months older than her. He admitted to having sex but both agreed to have it. They just passed a new law in SC and they called it rape because the mother pressed charges even though her daughter admitted to want to have sex with him. So that is major bullshit. So here is a scenario, when I was growing up I knew lots of girls who were sexually active and flirted with many boys and slept with some. So basically what this law is stating that even though a girl whom wants to have sex with you, maybe even entices you to, that no matter what even if she is 1month 1 week or even 1 day younger than the boy, whether he is 14 or 16, the boy RAPED THE GIRL. No justice in South Carolina
The only thing my son did was nothing, I or the mother should have taught him better about waiting to have sex and the state is full of morons that let us get away with that and punish young kids who don't know any better because there hormones are going crazy. Anyway I was just venting what does everyone think bout this?
