After a resident reported someone breaking into a van on Belmont Street, city police found Nathan Frisbie, 22, and Brian Frisbie, 28, both of 1 Battle Ave., Lot 5, asleep on the floor of a minivan that smelled of synthetic marijuana, according to a criminal complaint.

Officers woke the brothers, who said a friend had let them use the van to use drugs and sleep.

Nathan Frisbie was taken into custody on a parole warrant and also charged with loitering and prowling at night and possession of drug paraphernalia for a marijuana pipe found in his coat. He is in Lackawanna County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail; a preliminary hearing is set for Friday.

Been out of Carbondale for many years. I hated the place since I was old enough to think.. Some good people there but most are small minded and simpleminded people, mean nasty ignorant people. (This story above being an example.) The Carbondale Police (one exception was the cop who took me home when I was in Kindergarten and scared.) is about the most unprofessional force you can find in PA and that's saying a lot in PA. All PA cops need to go to NJ to learn how a professional cop shop works.

Brian and his family were my neighbors growing up. He's around my age. He was such a little jerk-off. He would start trouble, cursing you out and trying to attack you until you beat him up. He would then run home and cry to his mom who would come out and curse you out for hurting her son. 10 minutes later he would be back outside laughing about it and trying to start another fight with you.

He moved away and then 4 or 5 years later he was back in the neighborhood. He acted like he was going to play nice and decided instead to sucker punch me out of nowhere. I hit him a few times and put him in a choke hold on the ground until he gave up. He got up and ran out of arms reach cursing and threatening me.

He will never learn. Jail won't fix him.
