Do you anyone have images town of Carbonado or old mines near there ? My grandfather worked there about 100 years ago and I'd like to see what kind of place it is today.

This is a link to a picture of the mining town of Monte Cristo farther north in the Cascade Mountains; but, fairly typical of Washington Mining towns.

Here is a link to the University of Washington's Digital Photography collection. It has many pictures of Western Washington from that era. It will give you a good feel for the people and country your grandfather lived with/in.

email tejasnw (at) comcast (dot) net if I can answer any questions.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Aries

There's a lot of tension in the air, with certain people poised to spit the dummy, as Mars turns retrograde in your fifth house of romance, children and speculation. Confrontations are likely. If these are nothing to do with you and you just happen to be directly in the firing line, your best bet is to make yourself scarce. But if you are responsible for their outraged feelings then you need to face the music, otherwise things will only get worse.
