I am so pleased to see law enforcement and the judicial system taking cases like this seriously. Something is clearly very wrong with this man and it's great that they recognize it.

I always thought that he was a little unstable. He killed a school mate in a DUI crash and never seemed to have any remorse about it whatsoever. I hope that they throw him in prison. A**hole!!!!

I work at the vet clinic the dog was taken to. Our vet worked on him till 2a.m. Sadly, another employee and myself found him dead the next morning. The police were there throughout the day taking pictures for evidence. This is apparently what happened: The man was drunk and beligerent, and got mad at the dog for sticking his head in the guy's McDonald's bag. He "reprimanded" the dog by holding him down, punching him, etc. The dog defended himself and bit the guy in the face. The man then became even more irate, and got a 4 inch butcher knife, and stabbed the dog 5 times. He was so drunk, he even stabbed himself. At the hospital, he even tried assaulting a nurse. Ironically enough, the dog happened to bite the guy's lip off. Our vet found it in the dog's vomit. Serves the man right. He should receive maximun penalties for what he did. That poor dog suffered more pain than we can imagine. And to add insult to injury, because they could not produce proof of rabies vaccinations, the dog had to be decapitated, and the head sent off for rabies testing. That man disgusts me.

i live in channahon and know rob. everything being said about him is true. he is not welcome in any bar because of his excess drinking and temper. he has not driven a car since the dui and his father would drive him everywhere and always had the dog by his side (the father)for the people out there who think the "pit bull" deserved this need to now realize it not the bad "pit bulls" that turn its the piece of s**t people like this raising these innocent dogs. my dog (malin) was the father of this puppy their is no doubt this dog was from a excellent blood line and had no "problems" until he fell into the hands of rob. if he is not under lock and key next time it will probably be a person!!!!!!!! i only wish his dog would have taken HIS head off!!!!!!

Hellloooo Why bring up something that happened in High school? He was never guilty of driving that cvar. Also EVERYONE that was at the party/park are guily for letting both Jason (Tudor) get into that vehicle! It could have been anybody else. If it were Rob that was killed that night, you would all be mad at Jason. It was a very tragic acciden that happened many years ago and still unfortualtly happenes everyday. Jason and Rob were great friends, he did not deliberately kill one of his best friends. As far as Rob being kicked out of every bar in town, maybe because some people in town see him as this terrible guy, he is not.....He would do anything for anyone. He loved his dog with all his heart. I know he is very upset about what he did. He had to. No it was not exactly like Angie said. Maybe he did have a few drinks, but it was not like he was looking to beat the sh*t out of the dog. You really should not judge untll you know..........Sorry Rob :(

The family member making the comments must not be that close of a family memeber. Everything everyone has said on this blog is correct with the exception of the family member. Rob is more trouble then he is worth! Not to mention being arrested a few weeks ago for breaking the window of his girlfriends car in a drunken rage! What about being fired from his job at ecolab for sexual harassment! That dog was no harm to no one. His father had him off the leash in the yard all the time. He would even tell you that dog wouldn't hurt a fly. I hope they just thow him in jail for a long time. Then maybe he can get the help he needs before he kills something or someone else!

After hearing what this drunken jerk did to his dog, I certainly hope he spends lots of time behind bars or in a mental hospital. Maybe someone in jail will beat him or even stab him like he did his dog. Also if he ever does walk the streets of Channahon again, I hope he is never allowed to have any kind of animal. Sounds like he is a "worthless piece of s___, cannot keep a job and needs his Daddy to watch over him at the age of 38 years old.

to the family member: if the vet tec did not tell the story right then what did happen? did the dog turn?
and the issue of not being welcome in bars has nothing to do with his past it has to do with how he acts now and thats the point these people are trying to make

he needs to be responsibe for his actions for the dog and how he treats people at this point in his life
the dui was years ago and yes could have happened to many of us but he has got to stop treating people like crap!!!!!!!!!!hello!!!!!!!

Angie I'm curious, where you at the house and then the hospital before going to work that you personally witnessed all this mans actions, or is this hearsay. I would assume that if your speak to the experiences of another person (nurse) that you personally spoke to that person, or have a signed affidavit from them. I understand that animal cruelty is a horrid thing, I think that dispite what ever happened; I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you probably were not present for any of the things you speak of, to personally know any more than I do by reading an article. And unless one does have first hand knowledge of an incident, or has personal knowledge of the individual they shouldn't speak to "facts" of any case. That is the job of investigators prosecutors and trial attornys. Apparently you want to be called as a witness for any trial so you can speak to what you saw at the house and hospital that night, as well as your clinic. I'm sorry but I do not like statements by people who are not present at the scene of any incident that involves legal matters. It then makes it impossible for a defendant to receive a fair trial as is there right under the law. And can cost the county more monies by requiring change of venue, as clearly there is no way to find a juror that has not been predudiced by comments by people such as yourself.

Ummmmm excuse me, but the dog was violently stabbed. And you say "he had to". C'mon and get real, there is no excuse for what he did. Sounds like a real loser to me! His old man doesn't sound like he is any better.

What's he sorry for then, your earlier post said he was never found guilty of driving the car in which Jason died. Perhaps he is sorry because he knows he is guilty.
