i would like to appologize to the family of stephanie newman. i was seeing the suspect at the time and had no idea what happened. i feel as though if i had not let him use my vehicle this crime could have never occurred. so you have my sympathy, empathy, and severe remorse for not seeing through the lies i was being told and i hope he gets exactly what he deserves which is in my opinion the death penalty.

I have known him for many many years (15yrs) lost touch for a while but came into contact when he came home from overseas. I took him home after he had spent a couple of days with my husband and me. At that time, he stole my husband's gun. thankfully I got the gun back 3 days later. I am in severe shock over this, I never thought he would be this type and am thankful that I did not make him mad. I recently was told about this and I pray everyday for the family of Stephanie especially her son.

I met met michael through a mutual friend in new orleans and let him rent a room from me for a couple months. He seemed to me to be an alright guy. Quiet, clean, and respectful. This is a little shocking to know he was capable of this and sleeping in the room next to me. I met stephanie a couple times as well. I thought she was a very sweet girl. Im sorry for her family's loss.

Funny how you felt so bad but yet you were the one that was suppose to have taken the weapon and disposed of it for him so I'm not understanding why your ass isn't sitting just like him!
