Did you even read the article?

To the author:
Wow! The Hawai'ians didn't celebrate Christmas before the haoles arrived! Really, you had to write that in an article? Are people really that dumb that they would think the Hawai'ians celebrated Christmas before the arrival of the Western missionaries?

Why? Kids need to learn who their parents are first?

Yes, I read it. They are teaching children about how WE celebrate holidays in Hawai'i, not Hawai'ian holidays. That's right "WE" I live here, I grew up here, yes I know it does not list me as being in Hawai'i. I do not care where it lists me as being from and I find it hilarious when narrow minded people get all worked up about "folks from the mainland think they know what's what in Hawaii".
Yes, the missionaries were invited; I do not remember stating otherwise. Read my post again, slooooooowly, sound each word out and look them up if you do not understand them. I was commenting that the author made it sound like people thought Hawai'ians celebrated Christmas BEFORE the arrival of the missionaries. I think if people think that Hawai'ians celebrated Christmas before the arrival of the missionaries they need to educate themselves a little more.

I agree.

Perhaps its the fact that you post under several names... that makes it hard
for folks to follow your 'logic'

The only one getting worked up brah is YOU
