I support any Walmart walkout! A lot of employees are treated like crap! It is time for Walmart & Aramark employees to unite in solidarity and Unionize! How many times has Walmart been fined for not paying overtime? Unite & Unionize!

A lot....40 million people are on food stamps right now and for every idiot that wants to "walkout," there are a dozen that would love to have a job!

Unionize? Shut up and go get a job! Better yet....go MAKE a job! It's what America does. I've never gone without because even at a time that my job left me, I went out and made money! Not always the job I wanted but just by working those menial jobs, other opportunities came available!

Find a need.....FILL IT! You'll make money the old fashion way! You'll earn it!

So, that gives a company the right to walk all over its employees? Try working for either Walmart or Aramark!

Ask those who worked for GC for a long time that were chased out! I also recommend that all those who work in the medical industry to unionize!

I support any Walmart that fires any of these worthless employees that walked out or did not come to work.

It is time for all non union work places and workers to stand up and unite in solidarity and defeat union once and for all.

How many employees lost their jobs union or non union, Look at Hostess, Bakers Union actions made the Ding Dong and Twinke homeless and extinct.

Has any one noticed that Walmart forces people to apply to work there.

Frredom is without a union robbing your paycheck.

You are obviously in a class that would not work at Walmart, and the reason so many Walmart employes are on food stamps is because th average incom for them is in the $12 an hr range. Now factor in that includes the CEO who makes $35mil or $16,826 an hr (I know it's just a little above the normal Walmart employee) and the rest of the corp employees, and all of these people are above working on thanks giving.
These companies have no busness opening on thanks giving and making employees leave there families for the sake of you saving a little money, you would save the same amount if the opened on Black Friday.
I support these walkouts, and if you don't please find a better reason than assuming they are all on food stamps. In other words quit letting fox spoon feed you your opinions, and do the reasearch for your self.

$12/hr at Walmart? How many years of walmart employment dies that take here, 4, or 5?

Isn't 2000 man hours (essentially a year employment) befor you will work fll time?

A union can sometimes be like a lawyer, or car insurance. You hate them until you need them.

Many years ago, I knew of a person who lost his job over an 8oz carton of white milk. That's right, that person lost a $40K a year job because he had stolen a carton of milk that probably cost his company less than a dime, had just started, was under a 60 day probationary period, and thus had no union protection to stand in his corner, and defend him.

I well understand that no company-employer should tolerate any infractions such as fighting, or stealing, but it is possible that the Union "Might" have been able to save him his job, with perhaps 2-3 months off without pay as penance.

That still would've been a $6-8K penalty paid.

If he not made the CHOICE to steal, he would not need protection from anyone but himself. The reason companies have a 'probationary' period is to determine if the newly hired employee will be able to handle the job & follow policy. Why he CHOSE to jeapordize his job for a carton of milk makes no sense. Many people (including myself & my husband) survive on less than 40k/year, so i can't see that as a reason to steal milk.
BTW; a lot of the strikers are actually "occupy wallstreet" lemmings who have nothing better to do anyhow. i would lov to get a job at Walmart & have applied numerous times. Their work practices, including the rising health-care costs, are being done everywhere. My husbands company just increased his to 3 times higher (Thank obamacare for THAT one)! His company also hires at minimum wage as do many in the same business (restaurants, fast food, etc). So $12.00/hour would be SEVERAL raises for these employee's. i really hope the Walmart employees realize how good they have it b4 they choose to throw it away. Jobs are tough to find, pay is low & health benefits are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Last time i checked, No one put a gun to any person to fill out a job application at Walmart, There are plenty of other places to apply for a job.

I find it funny that the left leaning labor relations board cannot make a simple decision until next week, But if this was dealing with a real union matter, The Board would of already ruled..

Go Walmart, Fire those employees who walked out, and called in sick and seen on the non existence picket lines.

Freedom is great, it works both ways...Steal from me and you are unemployed......But in a union world, you get a promotion and paid time off.

Respect is earned....

If you do not like the management style, company policies, benefit package, and working conditions, You are still free to quit...

Remember you asked for the job, now be an adult and do your job that you wanted....

I suggest that you be the first to stand up and reject the evil unions have done. Reject child labor laws, 40hr work weeks, vacation/sick pay and all workplace safety laws for starters.

Unions fought, shed blood and died for these things that you got for free. Unions have improved working conditions for EVERYONE including you.

Look into the Hostess shutdown and see the real reasons for the fiasco- venture capitalists and corporate greed- not the union.

Okay Sock Puppet...

Unions have outlives their need, Yes they had a valid purpose back in the 1800's and very early 1900's, But after the WWII they are a parasite on a host called taxpayers....
Now we have government regulations and plenty of hotlines to report so called abuse. Unions now days are the abusers.

The real reason Hostess is shut dowing, Unions demands, plain and simple, Have you seen a poor union administrator, not at all.

I am sure having 2 drivers and trucks to delive bread and twinkies makes sense to you too, and how many pensions systems did Hostess have 40.....Unions are in decline because they are no longer needed, and Walmart should fire every one of those employees on that strike line....Buut we know it was all a publicity stunt that failed to produce any real news value, but the unions did suffer from it.

About all I can say with this last comment-post of yours, "Is Yes Comrade"!

Doesn't big government rule, snd govern too much in american's lives already?

What you're saying, is let's let government decide what an amployee's wage, work rule, benefits contract and agreement should be, not a collective bargaining process?

No thanks, I don't want to live in that world that you deem correct, and fair for american workers. You're just another union busting fool, who would place america back in the 1800's, or downgrade it to just another 3rd world turd country.

Your thinking will continue to declne America. It's 75% there already, with millions of jobs shipped south of the border, or overseas. Your thinking is let's finish the job, and drive a stake through the American Worker's Heart.
