This makes me wonder all the more how that new residential development of over 130 homes got approved. Not only that but a couple of weeks prior to the approval, impact fees were discontinued. Coincidence? I think not.
Let's help our own first without bringing in other residents to make the water situation worse. It's all about money-- It always is.

it s a preliminary plat approval, not approval to build homes. there is a difference.

From the last paragraph of the news article:
"Bryant said approval of Mousa's preliminary plat did not include approval of the variances, and that he will have to come back for final plat approval."

Since it's gone this far, is there any doubt that plat approval, variance approvals and approval to build homes is far behind? It's all about money. It always is.

"preliminary" only means the negotiations are still on going over the amount and distribution of the payola....and....Bryant is likely looking for pants with bigger pockets.

I appreciated reading the reality of our water situation . ( Ruidoso News 5/23) The labeling of our water resource systems as perennial vs torrential is a great example of the engineers faulty perception of reality. Thank you for your efforts to bring us from years of mis-use and mis-information. And also, importantly, for being conscious in solution to regard outlying areas, such as Hondo Valley.
